Little cat stencils?

A cat belonging to an Arkansas Democratic campaign manager was found dead on Sunday night with the word "Liberal" spray-painted across its side, the campaign manager said.
The cat was a pet of Jake Burris, who manages Democrat Ken Aden's bid for Arkansas' 3rd Congressional District. Aden is running against incumbent Republican Representative Steve Womack.
Burris was returning to his Russellville, Arkansas home with his four children when he found the cat on his doorstep, the Aden campaign said in a press release on Monday.
The mixed-breed Siamese cat had one side of its head bashed in to "the point the cat's eyeball was barely hanging from its socket," the release said.

I condemn whomever did this, for whatever reason they did it. And I do not rule out the possibility of a hoax, either.
To top it off, I don’t even like cats...

That’s not ‘spray paint’, that looks like dry erase marker or maybe even a Sharpie.
I am guessing the cat simply died, owner took out a sharpie, and then concocted the whole anti-conservative story.
It sounds like he killed the cat himself to gain sympathy. Then he realized to blame conservatives he would have to paint something on the cat. There is no way someone could have painted it on a live moving cat.
Notify the liberal MSM, post it everywhere on the web and look for sympathy.
Give me an hour alone with this slime ball. I would have him confessing the true story.
If the pic on this thread is the actual pic it looks like they used a Sharpie.
Anyone that has ever hung around FR for more than a day knows that conservatives like those here love cats.
First, if true, this is sad.
Second, how did someone get a hold of the guy’s cat while he was out with his kids? Did they break into his house — that would be a separate crime. But if they didn’t, how could they have gotten the guy’s cat, he certainly doesn’t let it out to run around on it’s own while he’s away, right?
I wonder if the cat got hit by a car, and the guy decided since it was dead he could use it for his political purposes.
I can’t figure out who on the right would kill a cat, and write “liberal” on it. “Leftie” would be more likely, or “Commie”. And how would someone randomly walking down the street and finding the guy’s cat KNOW that the guy was a liberal — he’s a campaign consultant, not a candidate.
First thing I would have to ask “Why was the cat running around free?”
Maybe the cat was trying to get a free lunch at somebody’s bird feeder and the “Liberal” label was meant for the cat - not the owner.

out and appear heroic. This is actually worse-—it’s designed for immediate political gain.
Wonder if this story will have legs?
T’would be wonderful if it was conclusively judged to be an
incident set up by the guy himself-—he’d lose the animal lovers vote in the blink of an eye, and one more death-by-a-thousand cuts would be (self)-administered to the Democratic Party.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t ask the usual first question:
“Do you know if he had any enemies who might do a thing like
this?” (insert smiley-face emoticon here)
You would paint it the way you see them painting tee shirts at the mall or flea markets. It is a special air gun. That is dead on accurate no pun intended.
To concur with everyone else here, most certainly the guy did it himself or some other dem did it to “frame” conservatives.
How many times does this happen? Aren’t the odds of this sort of thing, including racist antics, about 100% self-inflicted?
This whole thread is in danger of going full on Monty Python...
He probably ran over the cat and made this story up to tell his kids.
With that said, if this really happened the “killer” should be bashed over the head until his eyeball pops out.
Someone really hates cats to paint “Liberal” on it.
