The other day, just for the heck of it, I compared the 1980 Fame finale “I Sing the Body Electric” to the finale “Hold your Dreams” of the 2009 remake.

1980 smoked them. If the 2 movies were an AI season, 1980 would be the winner and 2009 wouldn’t even make it to Hollywood.

I put the remake of Fame in the same IGNORE box as I put the remake of Footloose and Hairspray.
