Question: Am I the only one cocking my head like the RCA Victor dog, trying to understand the lyrics Jessica is attempting to stutter? Nope. I didn't care FOR that song at all.

What is this crap Jessica is singing. Did that song even have lyrics? All I heard was moaning and groaning.

How good was Joan this week? The entire run of the show we've never seen as much emotion from her as we've seen in the last couple of weeks. I agree. (and I'm glad you you were able to join in last night, btw :) Joan has always been aloof and cool--even when she was putting someone in their place. She's been much more human this season.
And without spoiling it for anyone, I'm glad that particular subplot is over. On the DVD commentaries, Christina Hendricks refuses to say Joan Harris. "I play Joan." lol

According to DialIdol, Elise is in danger tonight...will the judges save her? It’s so obvious they want a Jessica/Joshua finale. I voted like crazy again this week to save Hollie...my mother will never watch again if she gets the boot (she says this every year). See you all tonight!

Nice summary Pat. Like Hollie too, but don’t think she will make it through the next 2-3 weeks.

I was cleaning the fishtank this morning while watching the show, and when Fantasia called Joshua "Mantasia" I laughed so hard, I dropped a goldfish...don't know it the poor little guy is gonna make it..he's back in the tank now, but is sort of swimming on his side..
Elise had the best line of the nite...when the Jason guy first came on the screen..he said Hi Elise"..then said nothing..after some dead air..Elise said "Is that ALL you got?"
Joshua looked like Jerry Lewis as a soda jerk..that white jacket is about 5 sizes too small..

Jessica didn't attempt anything last night...as usual, she knocked that song out of the park.
Hollie might make it through this week on her adorability. She won't make it on talent...she's got a lot of it, but everybody left in the competition is miles ahead of her...especially Jessica and Joshua.
Of course this puts Jessica and Joshua at a disadvantage. Most Americans wouldn't know exceptional musical talent if it bit them on the nose, or anywhere else.

Did that song even have lyrics? All I heard was moaning and groaning. In this song, the singer is so taken by the object of her desire that when she's near him all she can do is stutter...hence the half-words and nonsense syllables. A pretty ingenious little lyrical trick.

And she performed it like the brilliant little 16-year-old champion that she is. She's doing her Navy Veteran father proud.
Skylar, Jessica and Joshua all deserve this year's win. None of them will likely get it.

I like phillip but all his songs sound the same to me.
He's very Dave Matthews-like. Maybe a bit too much. Agree.

On with the theatrics.

Im afraid if Hollie isnt voted off tomorrow then the judges will use the save.I don't know ... The way they keep throwing her under the bus every week, they might just let her go home if she's eliminated.
