Did that song even have lyrics? All I heard was moaning and groaning.

In this song, the singer is so taken by the object of her desire that when she's near him all she can do is stutter...hence the half-words and nonsense syllables. A pretty ingenious little lyrical trick.

And she performed it like the brilliant little 16-year-old champion that she is. She's doing her Navy Veteran father proud.

Skylar, Jessica and Joshua all deserve this year's win. None of them will likely get it.
