As Romney's inevitability sets in, tell me about your third party.

Posted on 01/13/2012 6:37:07 AM PST by Halfmanhalfamazing

Are there any conservative third party candidates of note this go around?

I don't vote for progressives, and that includes Romney. So tell me about your candidates.

Exactly. Which is why I refuse to join any party. My beliefs most align with the Constitution Party, but I still won’t join them, either. The fact is, we were warned against the two party system, and here we are, reaping the whirlwind.

But that’s what happens with a bread and circus gang mentality populace. They pick their pony, be it candidate or party, and ride them right off the cliff.

I agree, that Santorum is the best of the bunch. But as long as Newt and Perry remain in the race, then the conservative bloc is not united.

Romney has been showing weakness in SC, so if Newt wins SC then I don’t care. I’ll support Newt if it means stopping Romney.

RomneyDoleGHWBMcCain cannot beat Obama. Getting a conservative candidate should be goal 1.

What happens if Obozo fails to qualify for key primaries?
With no visible democrat opposition, democrats could easily be left in the cold with no viable candidate, and no time left to raise one.

I know it’s a stretch, but if that were to happen, a third party candidate could have a chance.

As for me, it has become clear that the republican nominee will have been chosen long before I have a chance to vote.

I’m pretty much done with the whole load of crap.

I will vote, but I no longer have any horse in the race.

My horse tucked his tail between his legs and ran like a little girl.

Yes, I can vote for a guy like Romney—when faced with the prospect of a second Obama term. It is not even rational to equate the two of them. For all of Romney’s faults, and they are legion, he isn’t even in the same universe as Obama and anyone who thinks he is, isn’t dealing with a full deck.

Doesn’t matter what he is.

As long as he’s not a homosexual communist muslim named Obama, he’s going ot get my vote.

Romney will give you more Justice Souters.

If Romney gets the nomination, the supreme court is already lost. Write it off.

Pretty much this. The Supreme Court will likely be at stake. No matter how awful Romney is, and he is indeed spectacularly bad, court nominations tend to be bones tossed to the base and Mitt the chameleon will almost certainly nominate better judges than Obama. If all we get out of a Republican president replacing Hussein is decent court nominations, that alone will have made it worth holding my nose and voting for the RINO ticket.

Obama is a communist. I will do whatever I have to do in this next election to prevent a communist from remaining in power.

mcromeny has 12 delegates, 1144 are needed to get the nomination (this means he has less than 1% of what is needed, for the mathematically challenged )....nothing is inevitable yet, hell it is too early to even begin thinking about who will win... gotta wait till super tuesday at the earliest..

Huh? Why would Obama fail to qualify for key primaries? He already qualified for them in 2008 and obviously already has/will again in 2012. If your thinking birther stuff is going to keep him off the ballot, you really need to let the fantasy go and realize that stuff is never going to go anywhere.
