I was a bit of a hotspur last night when I spoke up against removing our police department. Neighbors Speak Out on Police Dissolution Plan This picture must have been taken after I left as I am missing. No sooner did this man get up to speak, then my tones went off and I was out on calls to the wee hours of the morning.

Hotspur - Sir Henry Percy, called Harry Hotspur.

"This match'd with other did, my gracious lord;
For more uneven and unwelcome news
Came from the north and thus it did import:
On Holy-rood day, the gallant Hotspur there,
Young Harry Percy and brave Archibald,
That ever-valiant and approved Scot,
At Holmedon met,
Where they did spend a sad and bloody hour,
As by discharge of their artillery,
And shape of likelihood, the news was told;
For he that brought them, in the very heat
And pride of their contention did take horse,
Uncertain of the issue any way.

Henry IV, Part I, Act One, Scene One.

Etiam non princeps sed usque ad genua, Principis Pacis!

I walked through the fire pit with my cowboy boots and had to pour water on my hotspurs.

You need a hot spur to move a cold horse.

Yours, too, is creative. I thought I spotted the sun when I got up, it’s already gone.

It makes sense that the president from Arkansas who was a bit of a hotspur in his personal life, grew up in Hot Springs.

Don't let Al Gore find out. Sun spots cause Global Warming.

The hotspurs in the public employee and teachers' unions should have read this: Starting now, state workers,families, to pay more or medical care before they started seasons of ugly, costly street protests in Wisconsin. $10 co-pay? Really? Most of us in the private sector, or Medicare, would appreciate $10 co-pays.

Santorum is cool, he's no hotspur
He might just be our party's savior
Strong on values, the economy
Almost tied RINO Romney
Can't wait for the November encore

Finally, a complete homework submission! Woot, woot...

My copay is twice that....and let's not even discuss that it is 5 times that for a specialist office visit.

Good find. I must say, I have to agree with that “ceiling” thing he was referring to. Paul is a major hotspur on foreign affairs, too. The disappointing part is that anyone still prints what algore says. Amazing he took time out from his massages to speak up.

I have Fayette county news, of a dedicated state employee:

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/dailycourier/s_774735.html

Police said Michael Matzus, assistant manager at the Wine and Spirits Store on West Fayette Street, told them he followed Lach out of the liquor store at 7:29 p.m. on Dec. 29 after noticing a plastic bottle of whiskey in his left coat pocket.

Matzus asked Lach to return the bottle, then grabbed it and the two began to fight. As they scuffled, the men crashed through a glass window of a neighboring business, Value Tobacco, police said.

Latest speculation is that it is Santorum by 17. I am not sure we have a clear winner yet.

We have a clear loser though, Michelle is set to have a presser momentarily and expected to bow out.
