Happy Wednesday, Rus..Thank you for starting my day off right today and every day..
Thats a precious little sweet dog with his booties on. Those are the best kind of dogs.
We are freezing here. It was 16 early but has warmed up to 36. Yesterday it didn’t get up past 23 and it was cold inside and out. I have to go to the courthouse while its 36 to pay my city property taxes and mail a package. I hate to go out but must!!
I’m just getting ready to start my paperwork in the morning. I will get everything ready later this afternoon and maybe it won’t take so long tomorrow.
After my niece went home, the day after this brown dog came to her house. Its reddish brown and sweet. I just asked her on FB if it was male or female and if she could tell how old it was. Its kinda like a small lab but with more hair and I can’t think of the name of the dog. Debbie has 4 dogs that she literally loves and they have the run of the house. They can’t keep another dog and she said “Papa Bear was getting anxious for her to find it a home.” LOL!

Your niece’s house has been designated by the dog network as a great place for shelter..LOL
The kitty network did that to my daughter’s house.
I am staring at stacks of filing to do..I finished mailing taxes..forms I had neglected for the farm, bank business..My tremor went into full jerk mode during all the writing requirements and I just am leaving the filing until another day.FR and homeowners paid..Hope they can read the address..LOL
Writing is impossible at times...typing is easier..but I couldn’t do even that last night. All is calm for the moment. Thank heaven
That dog looks like one happy fellow...cute and would make a good bedfellow, keeps you warm on cold nights...like the expression .....3 dog night.....means it takes 3 dogs in bed to keep you warm its so cold outside...:O)

Sounds like the important ones are taken care of. Filing can always wait...those boxes/drawers/filing cabinets never send a late ‘reminder’! ;)
My interpretation, which is just about what you came up with: Life is hard, you can ‘smoke, swear and kick those stones’, but hopefully there comes a time when you choose to do something awesome with ‘those stones’, and do it with and for those that matter. Thus the building of the wall or dam with the stones. The only thing we differ on is that I see it was the son talking about his dad finally turning hardship into something positive. You say it as the son growing up to be different than his father and doing it right the first time hardship was encountered. Regardless, the lesson is the same.

I went to the courthouse while it was 36 and still nearly froze. I stopped at grocery store and picked up things I needed, like ice cream, etc.....LOL! (I bought other stuff, too!!)
I have told you all that I’m a warm weather person and HATE cold weather and we get a lot of it here in Tennessee! And usually lots of snow in Jan. and Feb. Keep telling myself, spring is coming, spring is coming!
They are animal lovers for sure. Just like your kitties. Debbie probably in her heart is thinking “I wish Steve would let me keep this dog.” We’ll see what happens! Wish I could take it BUT.....
Meg, I’m sorry, I meant to tell you I’m sorry about the awful tremor. How often does that happen to you? Has your doctor ever given you some type of medicine to help calm it down when its bad? Thank goodness, it does go away! It must be worrisome for you at times. Guess we all have something to cope with, don’t you agree?
