The couple chose an idyllic resort in the Maldives as the perfect place to renew their marriage vows and pledge everlasting love.
But their happiness has turned to humiliation after the wedding video was posted on YouTube and subtitles disclosed that their "Islamic blessing", which was conducted by a hotel employee in the native Dhivehi language, was in fact a stream of insults.
"You are swine. The children that you bear from this marriage will all be bastard swine. Your marriage is not a valid one," he intoned as the couple held up their hands in prayer, blissfully unaware of what was being said.
Dismissing them as pork-eating "infidels", the employee went on: "You are not the kind of people who can have a valid marriage. One of you is an infidel. The other too is an infidel and, we have reason to believe, an atheist who does not even believe in an infidel religion.

Looks like there's a video at the source.
How stupid do you have to be to go and do something like this? You must have swallowed all the pablum you've ever been fed on "the religion of peace" and multi-cultural clap-trap. While, at the same time, turning a completely blind eye towards the mountains of evidence proving how hostile muzzys are. Quite an accomplishment.
I hate to side with the Muslims, but if they’re Christians having a Muslim bless their wedding just because it’s hip...
Thoroughly discussed on FR last year.
The couple made two mistakes: the first of course is thinking that natives of other lands return the feelings of liberal benevolence.
The second, that the wedding is primarily an experience for the couple, instead of a union within and to their own community, for the continuity of their community.
I have read the story when it broke. Still people chose to go there and be married.
Interesting post further down the page today:

Resorts closed due to anti-Islamic activity. Probably meaning Western bathing suits and couples shacking up. And drinking alcohol.
If they were truly Christians it would never occur to them to ask for an Islamic blessing on their marriage. Never.
Not to defend the couple, but the idealistic young see the world with rose colored glasses. They may be blissfully ignorant of what the muzzies are really like.
I recall a lady in our church fell in love with a Jordanian who had converted to the Christian religion. At the wedding, he and his best man, a middle easterner buddy, were comparing notes on each of the bridesmaids as they paraded into the ceremony. I certainly could not hear what they were saying, but it struck me as very odd. Were they rating each young woman on their sexual desirability? They were conversing together, privately, during the processional concerning each lady. I was apparently the only one who noticed.
From everything I have learned about Islam, I want no part of it. Don't bring that crap here.
I think I will go to Lowes and buy something this weekend in appreciation of their cancelling their sponsorship of "American Muslim".
I do think “Bastard Swine” would be a pretty good name for a rock band
The muzzie character allows them to smile at you when they insult you at your wedding, or smile at you when they blow you up with a car bomb prior to your funeral.
Remember, we have to deal with the “man in the street” when we deal, individually and collectively, with Muslim nations. This action proves, beyond any doubt, what the Muslims think of and say about us when they think they are safe.
If the poor man in the street thinks and says this what do you think their national and international leaders think?
My bottom line: This should drive our push to develop rational (not political) alternatives to oil. When that happens the Muslim world can go to exporting sand like they did during the 19th century.
if it’s on the teleprompter, Ron Burgundy will read it.
Well, this should be a lesson for western societies. When you extend the hand of acceptance and friendship to Islam and Muslims, IT WILL BE CUT OFF.
They are swine and our enemies - every last one of them as sure as if they were NAZIs or Fascists.
The Maldives is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It is also 100% Muslim. Anyone who goes there is supporting Islam financially. Go to Hawai’i.
“We have asked the resort to inform us what action they have taken,” he said. “We are embarrassed and outraged. We would like to assure everyone who would like to come to the Maldives that we will take such incidents seriously and will take action.”
The staff involved have been suspended. A spokesman for the Vilu Reef apologised for their “unforgivable conduct” and said: “The management of the resort is deeply saddened by this humiliating event.”
Yeah, yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah. Whatever. FYI Maldivian yuckitymucks, you won't find me spending my hard earned dollars in your country where you honor Honor Killing.
“The other too is an infidel and, we have reason to believe, an atheist who does not even believe in an infidel religion.”
Hmmmmmmmmm..... I bet the atheists thought that the followers of Islam only hated (or would kill) Christians.
OOPS.
Correct.

With the exception of Shia members of the Indian trading community, Maldivians are Sunni Muslims; adherence to Islam, the state religion since the twelfth century, is required for citizenship. The importance of Islam in Maldives is further evident in the lack of a secular legal system. Instead, the traditional Islamic law code of sharia, known in Dhivehi as sariatu, forms the basic law code of Maldives as interpreted to conform to local Maldivian conditions by the president, the attorney general, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Majlis

Atheists, on the other hand, don't believe in the God of Abraham. They have no redeeming social value. I'd say that places them quite a bit further down the food chain.
At least, according to the 'moderate' practitioners of the faith of Mohammed.
Not being Islamic myself, I am, of course, open to correction if I am mistaken.
