I wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous 2012! My goodness, so much has happened in this country in the past year, yet we meet here once a week to exchange triumphs, failures, tips and tricks about growing beautiful flowers and feeding our families. Many of us look forward to this every week, and feel that our fellow gardeners are really a group of FRiends.
May your seedlings be strong and your plants perfect, my FRiends.

Happy new year to you too!
I just ordered some seeds and can’t wait to get them and get them started in the greenhouse. I ordered Green Zebra tomatoes, Qinoa, Stevia and Market Cucumbers.
The rest of my seeds for this year I have saved from last years garden.
This is the third year I’ve ordered from Baker Creek Heirloom and have not been disapointed yet.

Congrats on being organized enough to have ordered already!
I promised myself that I would not buy seeds this year because I have 3 rubbermaid totes with seeds. Then, my catalogs started coming in and I received a Shumway's that I've never seen before. Suffice it to say that my promise has gone out the window!
Also got a Jung's catalog that I've never received before. Haven't had time to sit down and thumb through it yet, but it looks really good.

Happy New Year to you, too.
I noticed yesterday when I was in Lowes that they have their seeds and seed starting supplies out. I guess that maybe I should get my seeds out and round up my stuff so that I can get an on time start for a change.

I’ve got to go clean fish, so I’ll be away from the ‘puter for a while. Caught about 30 lbs. of beautiful large mouth bass!

I’m proud of my wine but not proud enough to post a photo twice. FR has not been user friendly for me lately with 20 to 30 second hang time making a connection. Is it my ISP or a FR problem?

I’ve seen similar comments from other folks, so I would say it is probably a problem with FR.

Thanks for sharing I just orderd some Sweet Woodruff seeds from Shumway. Jung looks interesting too.
The new Baker Creek catalog has instructions with glossy pictures on how to save different seeds. I thought that was pretty cool for a company that sells seeds.

Happy New Year to you too. I’ll have plenty of time to work in the yard and garden now. I officially retire from work today.
