For the past year I have experienced increasing lower back pain. The doctors traced the pain to a pinched nerve between the L4/L4 vertebrae and ultimately to two ruptured disks. So far I have made it without narcotics.
Tomorrow I will have surgery to correct the ruptured disks. The good news is that the surgeon thinks he can fix the problem and not just ease the pain. The bad news is that he says the recovery period is a full twelve weeks. The first two weeks I will mostly be in bed lying flat. Other than that, I must wear a back brace. No travel at all for the first two or three weeks even if I am riding in a car and not driving.
If you would be so kind, I ask your prayers for a successful surgery and relief from the back pain.
You remain in my prayers.
How you doing?
Imagine the Lady of the House is taking fine care of you!
Hopefully with continued prayers your pain is manageable.
Much less pain at this point than after the procedure on 6 December. I'll learn more on 13 January.
