Merry Christmas everyone! My sincere hope is that all of you, each and every one, will have a joyous Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
Just wondering if any others out there are spending this sacred night solo.
Besides my trusty Boxer, Django the Wonderdog, and a new edition to the household, a gorgeous long-haired black cat I have dubbed Jackson, I have the house to myself all evening and night.
Tomorrow, it will be family wall-to-wall at mom's house, complete with gifts and an excellent multi-calorie dinner. But, tonight, I'll enjoy a quiet supper and a nice cappuccino, watching "The Muppet Christmas Carol," and maybe "A Christmas Story." Probably turn in early.
Anyone else in Freeperland alone tonight? Just curious.
Just the better half and I here tonight, and tomorrow as well.
Merry Christmas and best wishes to you, skooz, for a wonderful 2012.
As long as you are a FReeper, you’re never alone.
Yes, Skooz. I’m alone tonight, and tomorrow as well.
I am at the VA Center in Ohio, where I’ve been for the last year, trying to rebuild my life after my divorce. next month, I shall move to Florida to live with my sister, and start a new life.
But for now, I am eating Domino’s pizza and lurking about FR sending my best wishes for everybody else’s fellowship.
Please, enjoy your Christmas with you and yours.
I’m sitting in my office, sipping tea and studying for an IT certification exam.
Our family Christmas will be next week end. Just the hubby and I and we are working on some home improvements. Taking a coffee break right now, always have to run through the headlines...
Yes. I have two dogs, a Golden Retiever named Cookie, an English Springer Spaniel named Mickey, plus 8 cats. So, I’m not really alone. Later I will visit my father who is in a nursing home.
I don’t mind being alone, not at all. This is something I chose.
Merry Christmas, Rabs.
As long as JR can keep the server going - FReepers are never alone.
Just spent Christmas Eve with all my adult children, their spouses and the grandchildren - went to Evening service at Church after a great family meal and unwrapping presents.
They will spend Christmas Day with their other families. We rotate because of distance and traffic.
God Bless and Merry Christmas.
Hope your ‘new life’ is the best you could ever imagine!
There are always wonderful Christmas eve services at local churches if anyone is out there looking for something. I know that we love to go to our church’s Christmas eve service...It really puts our focus on our Lord Jesus Christ and His GIFT of eternal life....
Thank you, Jewels! Very much.
Hello FRiends.
I’m glad I logged on so I can wish you both the best.
God Bless everyone on FR tonight.
To you too!
Merry Christmas, Ben!
please post your local, then go to a church/etc soup kitchen, and volunteer. Next year have your dogs qualified to be comfort dogs so they can spend x-mas eve/morn in hospitals/nursing homes. Start early, by May it will be an obsession for you and the kids(pets).
Start a journal and blog it with links here.
Does wishing one was spending Christmas Eve alone count as a yes vote? If so, put me down for yes.
God bless all of us good freepers.
Merry Christmas to those of you alone or with others.
