Hasn’t helped me. I’ve eaten foods cooked in virgin and extra virgin olivce oil all my life, eat a lot of seafood and take fish oil supplements but still suffer pancreatitis attacks once or twice a year.

I read somewhere that heating olive oil is bad for it, and you lose the benefits.
Better to use it in cold form, oil and vinegar on a salad, that sort of thing...

Getting pancreatitis attacks twice a year... yikes. My one bout of it nearly did me in. Thank God & Mayo Clinic, I’m still here.
