I’ve eaten foods cooked in virgin and extra virgin olivce oil all my life, eat a lot of seafood and take fish oil supplements but still suffer pancreatitis attacks once or twice a year.

Can you trace the attacks to following some particular thing?

High triglycerides or hyper-lipidemia. My Dr. says that extreme hyper-lipidemia can be genetic and I believe him. I'm the oldest of seven and I have a brother and a sister who get attacks as well. My sister lives in pretty much constant pain. I only have pain when I have an attack. My triglycerides are always high...5-8 thousand range but they get to over 20,000 when I'm having an attack. They should be about 100.
