I don’t know what in in there, neither do you . Newt apparently has looked through the bill and see some things that are not horrible.
How do you judge something you are ignorant of?
Are you always making judgement when you have no facts to support you conclusions?
Lol :) I have been searching,(but unfortunately not finding), a favorite pic of Sarah with the “I know I have great legs and smile like a beauty queen, but I can drop and field dress a moose at 30 yds......” with an expression that would fit that scenario perfectly, grins.
Ah well, maybe some other enterprising FReeper can find it and post it.

For another thread I found the Hannity report of 4/15/2009 where Newt participated in the NY Tea Party; proving his bona fides.
I had not known that - and I suspect many Newt bashers don’t either.

Look, Newt is a big picture guy. So am I. You are a little detail worm. Folks like you bore me. You will never understand big picture thinking because you’re out there micro managing general rhetorical statements as if they were technical specs.
He was not lying. He was NOT making a technical statement that exactly 300 pages will be passed if he gets his way. But that’s how you took it.
I know what he meant. What he meant was “it doesn’t suck 100%, just about 90%. “ He said that AFTER he made it clear it all had to be repealed. THE REPEAL was his action statement. The rest was commentary. But I know, you’ll never wrap your tiny mind around that.
As a little detail worm you’ll never get him. I realize that now.
Again, you and your little small mind and detail orientation is just not my cup of tea. The Presidency is a generalist job, not a detail job. I am animated by big ideas and general themes too. You can go do your little micro analyzing somewhere else. You don’t get big ideas and idea conversation.
There are some big ideas that worry me about NEwt. I am willing to debate those. But take your little accountant bureuacratic mindset elsewhere. Like I said, you BORE me.

If only we had a Conservative candidate who can shred liberals and express himself as forcefully as Newt does.
That very next February 2009, I was at CPAC in the book line for Newt and he signed my Sarah Palin poster (I didn’t know at the time that it was only for books).
Before he signed it, he looked at me.
I could see in his eyes that he was thinking of running for POTUS, and I could see in his eyes that Sarah was his...

I still have that poster mounted and it have made to just about every Tea Party and political rally around including 9/12/09.
I knew as early as August 2009 that Sarah Palin was the Tea Party candidate based on my examination of her past political history, beliefs, etc.
I think there is the impression that if she ran this time around, she would have won the Republican Primary hands down.
We are stuck with a weak field. Too bad she didn’t run.
