Tebow is a leader. The teammates believe in him and his leadership. He gets slammed in the media because of his stance on abortion, etc. All hes done is help the Broncos to an 8-5 record. Go Tim Go.
Wasn't he mocking Tebow earlier in the week?
Broncos D and Tebow leadership is getting this done. Tebow says God doesn’t care who wins a football game. Tebow is an outstanding Christian soldier. These articles and some posters around here are redicous.
It’s neither insane luck, nor divine intervention.
Tim Tebow has a lot of unique qualities, and obviously his team mates have bought in. A team with a will, and the right leader can do amazing things. Tebow is not lucky, he’s good, and he’s the right man in the right place, at the right time.
I don’t believe God cares who wins a football game.
And I’m enjoying this.
As a side note, it makes me sad that a religious man gets so much attention, mostly because he is so devout. In today’s America, it’s like he’s a freak. In the America I grew up in, he would have been just another athlete.
Gary Player always said, the more I practice the luckier I get. Tebow and the Broncos put themselves in position to be lucky and they have certainly had enough practice at it this season.
Tebow led a great fourth quarter 80 yard touchdown drive with seven straight complete passes. If he were a felon dog killer, that's all they'd be talking about.
The writer seems worried someone might credit The Almighty with a win.
Is Marion Barber proving there’s a reason the Cowboys were willing to get rid of him lucky, divine intervention, or expected?
All Barber had to do was go down inbounds. The Broncos capitalized twice.
As an avid, rabid Alabama fan, there is no other sports figure I detested more in 2008 than Tim Tebow. The recent attacks on his faith have now turned me into a Tebow supporter and I wish him every success.
Eventually, there will be loses but this victory was stunning.
Tebow's humility in praising the rest of the team shows his true leadership.
This is a little much. Barber sees the goal line with no one in his path and his eyes open up. The strip was more of a good play than a bad play by Barber. A few minutes earlier Barber made an incredible catch to keep the drive going.
I actually heard a commentator last nighty say that tebow’s personal values give him a core of principles that helps him lead his team. Now the bronco’s don’t give up. He said even Tebow says God doesn’t care who wins the game. but now the team does.
It’s simple in the end. The game is 60 minutes long (and then some, in case of overtime). if you play for only 55 minutes and haven’t built up an insurmountable lead, then the team playing the full 60 minutes can — and often will — come from behind to make you pay for it.
The Broncos, with Tebow, are playing the full 60, every week. Complacency by the other side has let them back into games they shouldn’t have had a shot in.
Division Champion Texans!

It was a classic combination of inept, bumbling, idiotic coaching (standard fare for the bears), and a just plain stupid player.
If luck was involved at all, it was contained within a 59 yard field goal which statistics tell us is - at best - highly unlikely.
He and the Broncos are going to have to score a lot more than 13 points to beat an angry and motivated Brady led offense. On the bright side (for him, not for me), there is no better defense in the NFL against which to “get well” than New England.
I watched at my favorite watering hole yesterday, hardly a hangout for the devout, and the anti-Tebow remarks were reminiscent of a crucifixion. It was great to listen to the grumbling at the end though. Supposedly God works in mysterious ways so maybe He’s converting a few sinners. While I have difficulty believing that God even cares who wins a football game, Tebow sure is fun to watch.
