Well what does everyone think after the Hannity interview? I've listened carefully to all his interviews and even though I liked Herman very much, I believe he was involved with these women, even if they are scumbags. First, has anyone noticed how he seems to "prey" on women who are vulnerable and bogged down with financial and legal issues? Second, he has said repeatedly "my wife loves me so much" but he's yet to say "I love MY wife so much". Doesn't that sound very egomanical? Third, he said his wife would never tell him not to run. I'm suspecting she wouldn't dare tell him not to run because she's riding the Cain Train too - the Cain Money Train. If you watched her interview she sure didn't seem to be madly in love with him from things she said. And now he's going to "analyze" the phone bills to see if they match up with hers and he and his attorney will do an investigation. When Sean suggested he could get the info to clear himself very easily, such as videotapes in hotels, plane tickets, etc., etc. he suggested Sean wanted him to play detective! Well, sorry Herman, but it would take all of ten minutes to pick up the phone, call the Ritz downtown Atlanta and ask for videotapes on such a date and at such a time! That would end it once and for all. Him and his "analyzing". God help the 3 a.m. phone call - God forbid the red phone goes off for a missle coming our way - by the time he got done analyzing we'd all be bar-b-que!
If somebody texts me, I tend to text them back. I dont personally give it a thought as to why somebody might text me.
He lied to his wife for 13 years (yes, not telling her is the same as a lie).
He lied when he said the POLITICO report was a hit piece and that there was no truth to it. Turns out he was sued for sexual harassment
He lied when he admitted that he was sued but said that it was investigated and found to be baseless and dismissed. We then found out that in fact she was paid a settlement.
He lied when he said he never met the first skank that came out. We heard from an impartial event coordinator that she witnessed an exchange.
He tried to blame this on Perry, on Perry's staff, on the "Democrat Machine", "They" and Rahm Emanuel.
Without context, texts mean nothing.
As I pointed out earlier, for all we know, the texts Gloria sent Cain are little more than impersonal questions, requests for advice, or whatever.
Do we really want to convict the man, because he told her that he thought a green dress was more her colour, because she asked him?
You know, I didn’t read his book but I couldn’t help but notice that he simply was incapable of explaining the 999 plan in a language I could understand. I thought I liked the tax plan, but then when he couldn’t help me understand it, I was a skeptic. I didn’t know foreign policy meant nothing to him but I sure realized he knew little about it - which really surprised me.
I tend to believe Herman. The current accuser says he took her to the Tyson/Holyfield fight but that was a year before she says they started an affair. Its all pretty thin. Sadly this is putting people off and Herman is tanking in the polls so my guess is he will be pulling out by Monday and trying to save some face. Its a real shame.
I’m anti rino. And most of the field fits the rino meme. So I am left with Cain, Bachmann and Santorum. I looked at Perry, Gingrich, and Paul and didn’t like a bunch of stuff. So Ia m down to those three. I won’t have a vote in the primaries, but I will support and donate to all of those.
What an arrogant fool.
Unless I’m right, eh?
Being paid a settlement is not indication of guilt. It is a reality in the corporate world that paying out settlements quickly is cheaper and better for the corporation than to fight them. That is reality. Paying out settlements is not tantamount to admitting guilt.
Again, without the content of the texts, it means nothing.
Maybe you’re the type of person who will hang people because of rumour, I’m the type who want’s evidence.
Well if he did do it, it’s a shame because he was a very effective radio host who broke down difficult topics for minorities who didn’t quite get political lingo. He was a huge asset to the republican party. I WANT to believe him, but when he refuses to do a simple thing like request even one video from the hotel - an extremely simple request considering his circumstances - and the huge credibility it would give him - I have to doubt him. I felt Sean didn’t believe him either and they’ve been friends a long time. Yes...why would he do it because he’s basically ruined his poliltical life, possibly his marriage and what about his business and radio career. Who’s going to listen to him anymore. I don’t know what Ginger White meant about the affair being “casual” - exactly what does that mean? Have you noticed how his eyes blink every second when he’s nerveous? Awhile back he said he expected other women to come forward - what man would say that if he were “clean”? Quite honestly, I believe his lack of foreign policy would have blown him out of the water in the end.
And the reporter text Cain from her phone and he called back, he admits to a 13 year relationship with the woman, he admits to hiding it from his wife.
You guys need to get a grip. I’ve been holding out for Cain for the longest time. But he is definitely guilty of one thing and probably more: He didn’t tell his wife about having a relationship with Ginger White.
That is still an affair, if only emotional. And I do believe that more will be revealed and it won’t bode well for Mr. Cain.I would guess that their relationship was most likely physical as well.
I’m disappointed too. But it’s long past time to keep defending the indefensible.
LOLOL, and get some bonus super secret shopping site sent to him too.........whoa, did he mess up big time!
I don’t think the “complexion of the field” comment was necessary. This has absolutely nothing to do with complexion.
I have a question. Did Cain say he supported this woman every month for 13 years (that would include paying for all her expenses as that is the definition of supporting her) or.......did he give her money from time to time over the course of the 13 years that he'd known her?
I really thought he said he'd only helped her out occasionally when she couldn't meet her rent.
Do you believe Herman Cain? Yes I do.
The person I posted that to has a nasty history of injecting race into this subject.
Bill Clinton was actually really talented as a politician (obviously not for our side but the Dems). So you (they) could overlook all his baggage since he was so damn successful. The Bill Clinton analogy doesn’t work for Cain though.
a) Herman Cain isn’t 1/10th as talented a politician as Bill Clinton (putting aside the ideologies)
b) Our side doesn’t like people with serious character and integrity issues. The Dems don’t care. They almost embrace those things.
If somehow Herman Cain were this brilliant leader who was going to take down Obama in a landslide, we’d all at least consider overlooking this. But his other strengths aren’t all that great. So time for Herman to move on and let Newt battle Romney.
So, without a shred of proof you think he "preys" on these women or preyed on them back in the day. Does the fact they are all broke and in need of funds suggest anything else to you, such as they took much needed funds from the people who put them up to these stunts.
Seems funny to me that the only women he "preyed" on(to use your idiotic term)worked for one company and one company only. No proof equals NOT GUILTY on Herman's part in my book. If you want to think he's guilty of these so called crimes, which have never been spelled out in detail, then that is your business and highlights just how stupid you are, either that or you are pushing some frickin' RINO for nomination.
