Being paid a settlement is not indication of guilt. It is a reality in the corporate world that paying out settlements quickly is cheaper and better for the corporation than to fight them. That is reality. Paying out settlements is not tantamount to admitting guilt.

Again, without the content of the texts, it means nothing.

Maybe you’re the type of person who will hang people because of rumour, I’m the type who want’s evidence.

You're missing the point, he told us it didn't happen, then the proof comes out that it did. Then he told us that it did happen but it was all found to be unfounded and dismissed. Then we found out that was a lie too. She was paid.

The rest doesn't matter, they are all excuses. How much or how little is meaningless, he said it wasn't true, but it was, he said she wasn't paid, but she was. That is where it ends with me. I don't care about the rest of it. He lied to us 3 times with just the POLITICO story.

Then He tried to blame Perry, the media, "They", the "Democrat Machine", Rahm Emanuel, never once did he say, "look, it all happened to me, because of something I did, right or wrong, my employer had to pay someone to not work. it sucks, but I learned that someone in my position needs to be more careful about being alone with women or doing or saying anything that could be used to hurt me or my employer".

Had he done that I would have said, 'yep, there are crazy ass people out there that like to take something for nothing'. Instead, he blamed everybody else and he learned nothing proven by a 13 year relationship he hid from his wife. That is all I need to know. What is in the text message is pointless to me.

I own a business and I have employees and their wives, husbands and kids that depend on my business to be successful and we can not afford to have an employee who puts us all at risk by making stupid personal decision that could hurt us. If I had to pay someone a years salary to NOT work it will hurt all of us. This guy wants to run my country and I wouldn't hire him to work in my office based on his actions.

Again, it's not about 'did he sleep with them or not' it's about his actions as a whole.
