A New York woman is being scrutinized and praised after people learned that she used a dating website to obtain $1,200 a month in free meals.
According to Business Insider, 23-year-old Jessica Sporty was deep in debt. Sporty had difficulties living on her $45,000 annual salary after spending nearly $1,500 a month in rent, paying her credit card bill, and buying food.
So she hatched up a plan and signed up with the popular online dating site Match.com so she could quickly go on five dates a week. Sporty even maintained a spreadsheet with detailed information on each of her dates, limiting each guy to a maximum of five.
Dates took Sporty to high-end New York restaurants, and one of her dates even bought her a $200 bottle of champagne.
Before I barely had enough money to pay for food, said Sporty. After using Match.com I found I wasnt going into debt anymore.
-snip-
As of today, Sporty is no longer on the dating website as she is currently in a relationship and most likely freeloading off her new beau.
It was exhausting, she said. I needed my sleep and I was done playing the game.

It needs more technology.
Heck, doesn't everything? Paperweights need more technology.
How about a toilet seat that warms itself when you sit on it? Compression activation of a warming compound. It replenishes itself when the pressure is released.
After you make a fortune with my idea, just send a check.
Yep. That’s what it looks like, for sure.
Just like I feel. Believe it or not, I went to sleep at 2:00 yesterday afternoon, and except for a couple of pit stops, I slept until 4:40 this morning. That’s a record, even for me.
I’m still tired this morning, but better than yesterday.
Now all I have to do is get up the gumption to go to the post office. Maybe tomorrow.
NNB, you know what happens.
If I tried to do anything with a warming toilet seat, you’d get:
a) A toilet seat that makes am omelette out of one’s backside.
b) A toilet seat that gains sentience and then rampages.
c) A toilet seat that suddenly decides to become a carnivore.
Maybe all of the above, maybe not in that particular order.
(Be afraid. Be very afraid.)
Trying to be afraid but failing ...
Sunny and 40s. I don’t know where Jake is, but Ash has a happy sunbeam in the living room. Successful trip to Walmart and The Salvation Army. Now I’ll stay in, unless I get up the gumption to let Tom take me for a recreational drive.
Howdy. Snow blowing today for sure. We are getting hit with a storm and will snow until Sat or Sun the weather says.
Somehow, I was under the impression that allowing Tom to drive an 8-1/2 month pregnant woman anywhere would result in a stop at the hospital before going home.
*sheesh*
;o]
Brrrrrrr!
Stay warm!!
;)
Hopefully it won’t come to that, since that would leave Tom stranded at the hospital without a supervising driver ;-).
Anoreth’s car is in the way of the Purple Thing, so Tom’s drive will have to wait until she goes someplace. Maybe tomorrow ...

Pictures of some of my family, most of them trying not to be in a picture. At least Pat is cooperative!
How wonderful thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome!
One of these days, if I feel the absolute need to be overdosed on cuteness, I'll know where to apply.
You have a lovely family.
I was driving in Palm Springs today and it was full of snow birds. I was behind one car from Washington that was going about 20 mph where the speed limit was 50 mph and wondered if they drove all the way from Washington at this speed? It was in the mid 70s while I was there today.
I saw just one of the younger kids that a gave rides to while in high school on TV. She is a reporter for a LA TV station.
Things are different on the West Coast.
