A New York woman is being scrutinized and praised after people learned that she used a dating website to obtain $1,200 a month in free meals.
According to Business Insider, 23-year-old Jessica Sporty was deep in debt. Sporty had difficulties living on her $45,000 annual salary after spending nearly $1,500 a month in rent, paying her credit card bill, and buying food.
So she hatched up a plan and signed up with the popular online dating site Match.com so she could quickly go on five dates a week. Sporty even maintained a spreadsheet with detailed information on each of her dates, limiting each guy to a maximum of five.
Dates took Sporty to high-end New York restaurants, and one of her dates even bought her a $200 bottle of champagne.
“Before I barely had enough money to pay for food,” said Sporty. “After using Match.com I found I wasn’t going into debt anymore.”

As of today, Sporty is no longer on the dating website as she is currently in a relationship and most likely freeloading off her new beau.
“It was exhausting,” she said. “I needed my sleep and I was done playing the game.”

Good places to find women like this is church groups, volunteer work, agricultural exhibits at county fairs, rodeos, conservative political picnics and like-minded cause gatherings.
Worst places are bars, rock concerts, tony restaurants in big cities and liberal political gatherings.

My exposure to that is limited, since I'm married and not looking for something on the side. I have worked with people who met and married on that site, but if a married man I knew was cheating there, I'm sure he would not tell me. If the dates were with married men, then they both got what they wanted, I suppose, and both participants in that business transaction disgust me.
I would think that going out on 5 dates a week would be exhausting. Even if you just got ready, got picked up, went to dinner, made casual conversation, and then got dropped off at home.

$4,500/yr left. That’s $375/mo, or $12.50/day.
Live within means, indeed. Hard to live in NYC for about ten bucks a day after taxes & housing.
Step #1: MOVE.
Yes, that doesn’t leave much time for any other activities when done daily. She’d see each ~5 times, meaning she had to be interesting enough (not assuming anything inappropriate here) at least 80% of the time to warrant subsequent dates. That’s burning at least 3 hours per evening 5 days a week. Works out about equivalent to $20/hr, a decent part-time job paying on par with her full-time one. ...and with those numbers run that way, plus the publicity, she’s at risk of investigation for running an unlicensed escort service.
I'm ok with that, but for some reason, Aniston still gets all the parts. Maybe because she does look a lot younger than she is. You notice Meg Ryan and Courtney Cox don't get those roles any more, but she still does. However, if you cast someone in her 20s for the role, I will support you 100 percent.
For a first online date I always start somewhere reasonably cheap ($20-40pp) and don’t pay if the girl rushes and wants to run right after food. Just before getting the check, I just ask “so what do you want to do after?” If she wants to run and doesn’t have a good excuse, she’s obviously not interested.
Go Dutch and if she whines you say “this wasn’t a date, we’re just hanging out”. If she tries to make a scene in a restaurant you’re known, just cut your loses.
