My daughter in law sent it today. I had seen it a long time ago. It truly had a big effect on me today....I grabbed a paper towel because it was closer!

On mine this morning, I used two snow commands and it didn’t seem to be more snow. But I noticed yesterday at Kitty’s graphic and it looked like a lot of snow and I checked the selecion choice and she used the snow command 3 times and it did look like more snow. I’m not sure, my mind could be playing tricks...LOL~

Well, if there are two people and a dog in the room, and somebody passes gas, the two humans can both blame the dog and get away with it.

I had a precious and wonderful family doctor back in the day, and one of his cuter expressions was “Better OUT than IN”.

And when my mom suspected the beginning of another of her six pregnancies, the Old Doc would say, “Well, Virginia, Love makes the world go ‘round.”

Freep mail me to be on or off the Daily Bread ping list

Free Pizza!

December 13, 2011

Money is tight when you’re a college student. So when free food is available, students will show up anytime, anywhere. If a company wants to recruit new employees, it will entice young people on college campuses to come to a presentation by offering free pizza. Some students attend presentation after presentation—just for the pizza. The food in the present seems to be more important than the job for the future.

Jesus fed a crowd of 5,000, and the next day many searched for Him (John 6:10-11,24-25). He challenged them: “You seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled” (v.26). It seems that the food was more important to some of the people than the everlasting life Jesus offered in Himself. He told them He was “the bread of God . . . who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world” (v.33). Some didn’t believe, wouldn’t accept His teaching, and “walked with Him no more” (v.66). They had wanted the food, but they didn’t want Him and what would be required of them to follow Him.

Jesus calls us today to come to Him—not for the blessings from His hand but to receive the eternal life He offers and to follow Him, “the bread of God.”

Well its morning so let me ‘splain to you, Ricky! Its a long sleeve of an apparatus that is filled with sand. When you put in the microwave for no longer than 3 minutes, you can place it wherever the pain is. Fits across the shoulder or around your neck or on the spine (where this pain I’m having now is.) The sand (or whatever it is puts out hot moisture and eases the pain better than a pain pill.

I’ve had it for years and its still in excellent shape. They have come out with newer versions and I found them not as good as this one. Mine comes with two sleeve covers so I can wash one and have a clean one waiting. All you have to do is stick it back in the microwave and zap it again. Man, it got rid of my pain last night and I slept like a baby! The latest version had the little styrofoam bead like things on the inside and it didn’t work for me like the old faithful one.

Worry no more about my bed buddy....LOLOL!
