"Wear Red" Friday

You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.

Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Happy Red Friday, Friends.

I hate to admit what I did yesterday. ;-}
We had high winds yesterday and it was cold.
I went back to bed with a book.

I did spend a lot of time on the phone.Sigh
Have been trying since Tuesday to get a prescription refilled.
It will be ready today ..... finally!!

Spent more phone time with our propane provider.
I questioned the sales tax charges.
I talked to them again this morning and am now waiting for a call back.
They are reviewing old bills to see how much credit they owe me.

Also, I'm still talking to Verizon regarding a phone and service for Marissa.
I think I finally talked to someone who helped me.

This is such a busy time and doing nothing yesterday helped to rejuvenate me.

I instructed the Chauffeur to wear Red on Friday in honor of the Troops.
I am happy to report that Jeeves is in compliance with my directive.
Now, if we BOTH could lose a few pounds, that would be optimum.

Remember a year or two ago when an elderly woman was accosted in her car by a man that pushed himself into her car, wanting her money??? She responded to him ...’I am not alone here ... Jesus is here with me ...’ she witnessed to him and ended up turning him to accept the LORD. How great that is. Do we believe the reality that Jesus is here with us? Ever. In a time like this lady experienced it shows each of us ... what it is we really believe.

I hate having to deal with talking to a computer on the phone, and trying to get a company to reconcile what they did wrong!

It used to be that the customer was ALWAYS right....but these days, the attitude seems to be, the customer is "out to rip us off!"

Poor babies. That looks pitiful. Our wind wasn't that bad. LA had 100+ mph winds. It has gotten very cold here.

It felt wonderful to do nothing yesterday.

I'm hoping for a large enough credit to lower my Propane invoice down by a couple of hundred. The bill is for $725 but $50 is sales tax. I'm not thrilled with a $675 bill, but it is legitimate :)
