Marissa is a beautiful young girl and she certainly did have a wonderful teacher and parent in Amy!
I loved both of your poetry pieces today, Bob. I was away a lot today and didn’t get to answer every post! We all thank you for your ability to write poetry! Keep it coming!
Marissa has been busy. Her best friend since kindergarten came over for pizza and cake/ice cream.
They are playing on the Wii. I told her mom that I would bring her home about 7:30. Since they are now in different schools, they especially enjoy any time they can spend together.
Well .... Darn.
Looks like I answered DD birthday post twice and skipped yours, Jaycee.
This is soo pretty.
She may have time to look thru the thread after we take her friend home.
Thank you for remembering her.

She may have time to look thru the thread after we take her friend home. She said she has her homework finished. :)
Thank you for remembering her.
How about thanking you twice; I hope this mades up for skipping your earlier. :~)
Of course I’m not biased but I agree with you. LOL
It was fun to go back and read all 8 BD poems that you have written for her. Thank you for doing that for her.
LOL! Thanks, Amy. I know about that double posting thing as of late. Takes so long for it to move that we click it just one more time.
I’m sure Marissa had a good time with her friend. She was so pretty in her latest picture. She’s growing into a beautiful young lady and it won’t be long until the boys take notice. Oh my, Woe is You then!

Hi JC I appreciate your concern...Pepper and I will get along fine if she doesn’t stop eating (fat chance of that) and we can keep her pain free...I always have Christmas at my house, its buffet style cause I never know who else might show up, I have had grandson’s bring their girlfriend and my kids in-laws if they had no particular plans for the day....You have a happy healthy new year....GG
In The Weight of Glory, C. S. Lewis tells the story of a woman who gave birth to a son while confined as a prisoner in a dungeon. Since the boy had never seen the outside world, his mother tried to describe it by making pencil drawings. Later when he and his mother were released from prison, the simple pencil sketches were replaced by the actual images of our beautiful world.
In a similar way, the inspired picture the Bible gives us of heaven will someday be replaced by joyful, direct experience. Paul understood that our perception of heaven is limited until one day in the future when we will be in Christs presence. Now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known (1 Cor. 13:12). Yet Pauls confidence in future glory gave him strength in the midst of trial: I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us (Rom. 8:18).
Our current idea of the glories of heaven is only a simple sketch. But we can be completely confident in Jesus claim that He has gone to prepare a place for us (John 14:1-3). The best is yet to come!

Thank you for ODB, Rus.
Each message you present draws me closer to Our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Getting ready to head out for another chemo treatment. Will be back later today.
Our Lord’s Blessings to you and your family.
Good morning, Dave.
My prayer for today will be that today’s treatment goes as well as last week’s.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Happy Thursday, Conor. This is a beautiful Clematis. Thank you for sharing it with us. We enjoy it whatever the time of day.
Have a Terrific week.
Thank you for sharing ODB again this morning, Rus. We appreciate your dedication in sharing it.
I think we had your weather early this morning .... really cold. The low this morning was 25. Since we live out in the boondocks, we get colder temps than what is recorded for Fresno.
Have a Blessed Week.
Hi Amy, I may not be here today. I had the plumber yesterday and that took a while and I’ve just got so much to do that my head is whirling and that’s not good! I will see you when I can! ((((HUGS))))

Oh Tannenbaum, oh Tannenbaum,
Du kannst mir sehr gefallen!
Wie oft hat schon zur Winterzeit
Ein Baum von dir mich hoch erfreut!
Oh Tannenbaum, oh Tannenbaum,
Du kannst mir sehr gefallen!
Oh Tannenbaum, oh Tannenbaum,
Dein Kleid will mich was lehren:
Die Hoffnung und Beständigkeit
Gibt Mut und Kraft zu jeder Zeit!
Oh Tannenbaum, oh Tannenbaum,
Dein Kleid will mich was lehren!

Thank you Dave, it is so nice to hear.
Over the years I have gotten many personal messages from people who have been touched by the Daily Bread. I love reading and sharing them everyday.
God Bless you my FRiend.
Good morning, Jaycee.
I know what you mean about having too much to do. I need to make another trip to Fresno today. Marissa is singing in a Christmas Concert at the local High School tonight. Her class is performing the program that they will be doing at school next week and she is singing her solo.
She tried on her dress last night .... I think it is too short. She is growing so fast. The one she has is a 12; I’m going to look at the 14s. I wouldn’t mind the length since she will be wearing leggings, but it looks hi-waisted to me.
I hope to find another that will work and that she will like. That is a big order. :)
Have a beautiful day.
Thanks for the prayers. They are really apreciated, especially as I have a piano recital to go to tomorrow!
