I just wanted to thank you all for all the pretty posts yesterday and my goodness, all those today! I think you all knew that I was having company and my niece from Mississippi came to visit and she and I went to lunch and had a great time. We came back to my house for dessert. I had made the cake the day before. I cut two small pieces to keep and let her take the remainder to Gwen's so they all could enjoy it. I certainly couldn't eat all that cake in a million years!
Today will be the same. We are going to a few places this afternoon and then I hope to work in a nap before we all go to dinner tonight. Greg took Debbie's hubby hunting yesterday and they went again this morning. I don't know if they had any luck today or not. Greg was so wanting Steve to get a deer. (I pull for the deer but don't tell them.) LOL!
The will probably be leaving sometime tomorrow. We all have enjoyed them.
SHE GOT THE WAITRESS TO TAKE THIS PIC!
ITS A LITTLE DARK!

“For Further Thought
To begin a journal: Record your struggles, reflect on a
verse that is especially comforting or challenging, or
write a prayer of thankfulness for Gods faithfulness.
Reflecting on Gods faithfulness in the past
brings hope for the future”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you Mayor for todays Bread. I must have 8 OR 10 journals that I bought with the full intention of keeping daily or weekly, alas ... I begin with exuberance and with a few days, I have laid it aside. I am attracted by journals, clean white pages waiting for a life to take shape on its pages. Growth , change, worries, cares, hopes, dreams ... yet I am totally weak at carrying through on it. Procrastination sets in and stays.
Especially a spiritual journal. Sounds wise and necessary. the few page's I have written are separated by years or months. Still I find them interesting whenever I do look through them. It is a great new years resolution to write in my journals regularly. As we get older the memory is not as good as it once was.
I liked the book The Bridges of Madison County ... or something like that, it was made into a movie with Clint Eastwood and Merle Streep .. she wrote a letter to her children very like a journal. It was soooo good.
That may be my trouble with it, most of us find our life to be quiet ordinary ... which is a blessing from God.
