Had another setback yesterday. Woke up at 4am with a migraine. I get them about once a year. It was noon by the time the headache went away. Anyway, I cancelled the appt yesterday and next appt is next Thursday.
Thanks for the prayers and well wishes. We’ll get this done sooner or later.
Ahhh ... how sweet he is!! And he is thinking RED!
Thank you, Yorkie. Have a Delightful Friday.
Wonderful, Meg.I would love to join them on the patio for a margarita.
That couple looks like MrJust and me. I’m not sure who the young lady is. :)
Thank you for being here. Have a Fantastic Friday.
My daughter has migraines..My sympathy..
Prayers continue, (((Dave)))
;o)
Thanks, Amy..I’d love to join you and MrJust there..I hope they know how to make a Margarita..LOL
A vacation sounds so good!
My brother just took my dad’s car to his house after Dad’s stroke...My mother’s insurance agent was contacted and he told her she could no longer get insurance. I cried over taking her car away but she had had a couple of minor fender benders and she was 90!
My Mother walked out of the nursing home the first day and was asking for a ride home..She had had a bad fall that morning ..and I could not lift her..I was told by the doctor it was past time for me to put her in the nursing home..I cried all the way taking her.
Nothing easy about a dear one going downhill.
Prayers are continuing, DD.
Get lots of rest.
S/he may not be able to wear it but they sure seem to be enjoying the 'aroma therapy'! :)
Reminds me of a Hof Brau a group of us would converge on several times a month. Great food!
I think that is in Austria..can’t remember. I lived in Germany for a year..I crave Apfelkuchen with whipped cream.
It sure looks a lot warmer than it has been in California. A perfect place to spend January and February.
Oh Man ... I just looked out and we have 5 dogs in our front yard. I hope they just stopped by to pay a visit ... I really don’t want to try constraining them to wait for the SPCA.
It was difficult putting my mother in a nursing home. She hated it but she could no longer live alone and I could not lift her if she fell again.
My BIL was so active .. they are trying to get him walking well enough so he can go home.
It is very difficult when he has listed us as the contact people. I have given them his son’s number. The son says he will go see him this weekend. I get frustrated. His son and daughter expect us to handle things if they are busy.
Stay strong!
I assume you have leash laws down there, for all the good they do! Drives me crazy having to clean up after others animals when the owners let them loose. Problem is, I have no idea who they belong to..lol.
Waiting for Animal Control around here could be several days...I don't even bother reporting them! Hope your visitors are traveling ones! :)
Sooo...do you make some when that craving kicks in?
No! I need to visit a German restaurant.
I had key lime pie and pumpkin roll for breakfast..LOL
I’d tell them YOU are busy, too!
I hope he will stay there so he can walk again. My grandmother was much older when she broke her hip...and never walked again.
We had several (12 or 15) nights with temps in the 20’s. We have had to leave water running to keep pipes from freezing. I like country living but it does have it's disadvantages. :)
MrJust went to visit his brother today. I stayed home to do laundry. Doing laundry had become a must!! To much running around. The problem with these children, they would probably ignore him until it was convenient for them.
This just breaks my heart, when I hear that able-bodied adults are 'too busy' for their elderly parents. I hope they realize how fragile life is, and get a heart-tug, somehow.
I will join the two of you for a margarita toast! (Don’t skimp on the salt.....) ((((((((HUGS))))))))
