I’ve listened to some of the speeches of Democrats of 50 years ago - My, they sound so conservative. One speech of Humbert Humphrey was really good - fit for Tea Party. It shows how far left we have all been skewed.

Not many. But a few. These guys were men, with true values.
And I consider JFK in that bunch. He ALMOST prevented the Viet Nam war. And we do have that little moon landing thing to thank him for. A moment I will go to my grave believing was one of Americas finest hours!
Yep. We have ALL lowered our standards to the point that even the lefties of yesteryear seem to the right. Frog in the pot.
