One of the blessings of not being in America is that the
only US channel I can get is FOX news, via my new Gsat TVRO
dish.
I got rid of TV in the mid 90’s. It hugely improved my life. I highly recommend it.
You might want to rephrase that. My wife Tivo'd that commercial and "shared" it with me, isn't yhat special.
You probably didn’t see anything that you thought you did. What was it a commercial for? You can say the product, nothing will happen to you.
I vividly remember when my father (old time cowboy) saw the first ads for feminine products on TV and flipped out...then Dr. Ruth was being interviewed on Good Morning America and she said the words “oral sex” my dad really lost it. That was many years ago but shocking at the time. What it is all about is we as a country have NO class any more. Just none.
Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. 12 The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarrelling and jealousy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
Was it a K Y commercial?
Tomorra @ 1400 yer idiot box will be turned off fer ya!

I gave up television about nine months ago and havent looked back, not even for my sports teams that I followed, it is all liberal promotion of a dysfunctional life and it is corrupt. I now enjoy reading, music, walks and nature, friends, writing, crafts and other hobbies, meditation, prayer and anything wholesome I can find to do.
Basically I had the same type of reaction that you are having here to things I was seeing on television and I had just had it with the entire mentality of it all.
Dr. Blado’s advice is to stay away from the hard liquor.
