Agreed. But she remains the only one I'll vote for in 2012 of all the possible conservative candidates, because she remains the only one who has what it takes to tackle and fix our current problems.

I'm still crushed that she declined back in October, but not so much so that I'd withhold my vote for her if she gets in. She's still the best we've got by a few thousand miles.

I'm seriously thinking of writing her name in, come what may. I firmly believe that the stars are aligned for her to be positioned to become president at this precise time in our history.

Right when this country needed it most, a patriot of unparalleled excellence and bravery rose amongst us, and rallied us like no one since Reagan. That she would abandon her clear path to greatness, is a mystery that I haven't the wisdom to fathom. I only know that something is dreadfully wrong with this picture.

I think millions of us are. As I said upthread, it's as if Washington turned his horse and rode home to Virginia, right when his countrymen needed him most. The stars cross, and the universe tilts on its axis...
