Neither does my way... Makes you wonder about Frank Sinatra, he did it his way... But, did he believe in Christ? I dunno.
Aww..how pretty..
Yes..It is wonderful to get those hugs and calls.
I am going to have to do something about this back..It is keeping me away from seeing more of my family..Just normal activity and chores can result in agony.
I’ll be keeping my feet up the rest of next week.
I don’t know either..
I like the words..but not the music.
I agree - the words were great - but I just don’t relate to rock music.
My kids listen to Christian rock like that, even my wife likes it. Me? I like the old time gospel music..
OMG!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to cute!!
I'm having a hard time with this,Rus
Fairness and freedom from pain and loss is not promised..This helps me in times of sorrow when I just don’t understand..assuring me someday I will.
1Corinthians 13.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.
12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Someday we will understand.
And, the poem I posted yesterday said,
"Not till the loom is silent,
and the shuttles cease to fly,
Will God unroll the canvas,
and explain the reasons why."
We don't understand the 'whys' of pain and sorrow, in this life, Pam.
But, as Meg (and Rus) post, someday we will understand.....
((((HUGS))))
Thank you, Meg!!
I wish this "someday" was now!
4 minutes after the plane took off, all in the plane were gone.
God now has these 3 wonderful children....not their Mother!!
I cannot imagine the pain and emptyness she must feel.

I cannot understand these kinds of things, this accident is tragic and what this woman is going through is unfathomable. All we can do is Pray for her and all involved, Pray for comfort in their grief.
Thank you, Yorkie!!0
: )
Prayers for those who mourn..I don’t want to try to imagine the grief of the mother ..too awful.
(((HUGS)))
I was just reading a post by and avowed atheist who says we make up God in our own image to make us more comfortable..and says we have no soul. She mocks the randomness of pain and destruction and our beliefs in God.
My God will see me through the awful and the good..and be with me if I suffer. He will not keep me from sorrow..but walks with me while I am in it...even when I don’t see Him there beside me.
I have made decisions against what God led me to be wary of and suffered the consequences..Those I understand..
I learned hard lessons. Still learning..
Plane crashes, tsunamis, earthquakes, car crashes, illnesses remind us the rain falls on the just and unjust.
May God guide us as we make our choices and be with us in our pain and sorrow.
LOL..GO VOLS
Thank you, Rus!! I understand and will pray for all!
Amen, Rus.
