By the way, I’m watching a new hummingbird’s nest! I just peep in occasionally.

Ha ha ha! You just enriched my already exquisitely multitudinous vocabulary! Here are some Colloquialisms from my Native Land of Boston MA:

1. Getting Cahded: The process of demanding a Drivers License or other picture ID for the purchase of alcohol.

2. Wikked Pissah: Very Excellent

3: REE-Tahhhd:Not very bright person

4: Thah Packee: A store that sells alcoholic beverages

5: BEE-yah: A mild alcoholic beverage made with barley, hops, and malt

6: Yizz: the second person plural pronoun

7. cah: a vehicle

8. Cay-yah: to have concern for others

9.Hahvahd: a very liberal college ovah theyah across the Chahls RivAH.

10. Bang a Yooie: What yizz do when ya cah is goin’ in the wrong direction.

11. The Gahden: Where the Broons and the Celts play ball

12. Fenway PAHK: Where the Sox play ball

By the way, Mama is flying back and forth to the nest and acting funny. She hasn't laid her eggs yet. This will be exciting. I have it opened in a tab and can just click and view, then go on to do my work! Here's the link if anyone is interested.

Use in a sentence:
Ya from Bahstin? That’s Wikked pissah, I’d take yizz out fa a beeyah, but we might get Cahded at the pakee. Why doncha just pahk yer cah ovah theyah by the rivah? You gotta bang a yooie to get ovah theya but there’s no pahkin on this side of the street next to the Gahden.

I just looked in - and she looks VERY ready to lay those two eggs. I am surprised that any birds are laying eggs this time of year. Don’t they usually lay their eggs in the spring?

One of the posters said she has already laid the eggs - and they are barely visible at the bottom of the nest.

I read where some poster was acting like she hadn’t laid her eggs yet and said “they usually lay early mornings, so I don’t really know. When Mama was there she was acting so nervous and shaking her little body, like a quivering sorta. I had to go away...maybe she laid them. I would have missed it, darn it!

OK - maybe we can all learn som'tin new today: (ROTF!)

HOW TO TALK LIKE A RAPPER

If you aspire to become a hip-hop artist
or want to blend in with the 'street kids'
around your neighbourhood,
then take a look at this article.

steps:

■Instead of saying 'alright', say 'a'ight'.

■Instead of saying 'For sure', try 'Fo sho' (the ending letters are silent)

■When greeting somebody, say 'Yo' or 'Sup'.
You can refer to people in your clique as 'homies'.
You can call them your 'crew' or 'hood'.
You may also refer to friends as 'dawgs'.

■Describe things that are cool as
'dope', or 'sick', or 'wack', or 'Fresh', or 'Tight'.

■Say 'you know' instead of 'um...'.
You may also say 'Ya dig' or 'Know what I'm sayin'.

■'Holla back' means 'reply back'.

■Instead of saying "hey guys, i am going to the barber shop",
you should say "I needs to go get my wig split!"

■Instead of saying 'whats happening' say 'whats good?'

■When you jealous, say "Don't be erasin' my posts, yo!"

■Use phrases such as 'Rudeboi, dont watch dat'

tips:

■Useful phrases:
Don't be trippin!
Don't be hatin! Break yo'self!

■Exaggerate your a's and lessen the ends of your words.

■When in doubt add one of the following suffixes to the end of key words:
-izzle, -nizzle, -eezy, or -neezy. It's fool-proof!

warnings:

■If any of these phrases are pronounced incorrectly,
you may get made fun of or dissed.

■People might think you're annoying
if you keep talking like a rapper.

now, you are up to talk like a rapper fo sho, ayt?

In today's world it seems people are not really where they actually are at any given time. They are thinking about what they would like to be or do, or where they were and did then, We seldom are actually present in the here and now, whether we are thinking about what we need to do next, stop at the store, pick up children, run errands, it is as if we are treading water and rarely find peace and contentment. Busy, busy, busy.

The habit of a 45 minute morning walk is a part of my everyday. Rain or shine, hot or cold, windy or still, being out of doors and seeing the tree leaves turning gorgeous colors, (now) or changes in the neighborhood, or simply enjoying the fresh air, it is a great time.

It is a time to thank God for blessings, and have a talk with Him. I recommend it. Do be present in this time, you will be blessed.
