Right you are, Yorkie! And cut some of the bloated welfare programs like food stamps. Don't cut our defense budget - that is tantamount to national suicide!

Democrats want it cut. They can’t stand the Military or any war we are in either. None of us love war but we don’t hate it....we support it for our guys and gals.

I am willing to bet he will have no trouble figuring out a way out of that dilemma.

Very well, thank you! And yourself?

It is not the Democrat Party my father belonged to . By the 80's he was appalled with what was happening - by the Clinton Administration he was totally turned off. I remember him saying he couldn't understand all the fascination of some people with oral sex. Something that was never in his repertoire. He was prudish by today's standards, but his word was something you could rely on. Didn't mean to get off on a rant - just can't bear to see what's happening to our Beloved Nation!

None of us can bear what’s happening, Conor. It almost makes
me sick to my stomach sometimes.
I often think of my parents and what’s happening with so much free sex everywhere and the language everyone uses....they are probably whirling in their graves. I grin when I think of my grandmother talked about slow dancing.....she said we were just rubbing our bellies together....remember, that was grandmother! Can you imagine her eyes today!

Especially the
public fascination!
Clinton dirtied, soiled and degenerated the Oval Office, and had no shame in doing it! He was the most discraceful President in our lifetime (until 2008............)

This day has been rainy and busy but all is okay now!
And I imagine on this second day back to work, you’re
settling in again. Hope its easier for you now. When we
turn around twice, it’ll be the weekend....

Strangers in the Box
Author: Pam Harazim
Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still, serene.
I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like,
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where, or when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday to be passed away?
Make time to save your stories,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.
To: yorkie
That’s sooooooooooooo true!! I’ve come across so many pictures like that and I’d think if only someone took the time to write on the back of the picture!! Time to update some things!! Thank you!!
