Pure crap, but you know that.
I can’t go with Cain either. Not after his race card antics.
It makes perfect sense to this heartless conservative. Frankly, I am shocked . . . shocked I tell you, that he has any supporters on a site such as Free Republic. But then, so does Ron Paul - who is even crazier.
What is a Perrytard?
Sorry about some of the bad grammar. I took what I wrote in a thread, and changed it from “Perry betrayed America by...” But I didn’t catch all the necessary changes in verb tense, capitalization, etc.
They both are a joke.
Got any proof or sources on any of this?
Not to mention, I find it rather ironic that in two of your points, your arguing in favor of federal laws and regulations against what the local government and legislature decided was in their state’s best interest. You may not agree with what they decided, but saying that they don’t have that right in the first place? Seems like a rather odd stance to take.
“1. Perry refused to allow Hispanics to be educated in English, and preferring Mexico-supplied history books which inculcate them with a hatred of America. “
Romney is going to have a field day with Texas educational standards. MA was ranked #1 in the country while Texas has some of the worst performing schools.
Good points all.
You’ve done a good job in nailing some of the more troubling aspects of Gov.Perry’s performance in Texas, but unfortunately, by no means is it a complete list.
He is not presidential material.
I hope you put on your kevlar. There’s gonna be frags all over this place. There’s a host of Perry fans who don’t wanna hear what Perry has done, and does. Plus, they don’t care who they frag to promote their “savior.”
I don’t know about you, but I have an aversion for people who preach Jesus to me while holding a sniper weapon. There’s simply something very wrong with that picture.
Anyway, I hope you survive the onslaught. Remember the Alamo?
Perry doesn’t. Heck, he probably never heard of it. He’s probably never even been to San Antonio. If he had, he wouldn’t be so anxious to reward illegals.
He had veto power. He failed to use it. If he had used it, then he would be clear of this title of an illegal immigrant fan who rewards illegal immigration.
Brilliant thread and every bit of it is true. Get rid of Perry immediately!!! Cain 2012.
A source of further details about allegation #1 would be most welcome. If Perry wanted to accommodate the wishes of Mexico in how to school visiting Mexicans, that’s hardly a treason to the United States. Of course, Mexico should not have any say in how to school US citizens of any race.
What a pack of lies you just posted. WOW.
Here is the deal, no candidate will be a perfect fit.
So, pick ten things that are important to you in a candidate.
Find a candidate that fits all or most of these issues to your satisfaction and vote for them.
Everybody’s ten will be different.
For me Palin was as close as it gets, she has decided to not run, I accept her reasons, so I need to look at the others.
It is not rocket science, but if it is Cain is your guy.
Why? How can he do that? Why would he do that?
What happens to them if they hear English?
What happens if they read English?
What happens if they speak English?
What does Perry do then, does he demand that they stop?
Does he fine them?
As someone who has lived in Texas his whole life, I can tell you it’s worse then you think.
Perry has always been an open borders globalist, among other things.
Perry sucking up to La Raza makes us wonder if he promised to get "raza studies" in Texas schools in exchange for illegal votes.
Anti-Americanism Disguised as Ethnic Studies

...... raza studies, which means race studies, are championed by organizations like the far left organization National Council of La Raza. The raza studies do not simply teach Latino youth about their heritage, it goes well beyond that. The textbooks teach Latino youth that they are mistreated by America, training them to become radical anti-American activists. Textbooks include The Pedagogy of the Oppressed and Occupied America. Another text "gloats over the difficulties our country is having at enforcing its immigration laws." Benjamin Franklin is vilified as a racist. White people are referred to as gringos and oppressors of Latino people. Privilege is described as related to a persons ethnicity.
At a TUSD school board meeting on May 10, one upset mother read excerpts from the textbook An Epic Poem, including, My land is lost and stolen, My culture has been raped .we have to destroy capitalism overthrow a government that has committed abuses .to the bloodsuckers, the parasites, the vampires who are the capitalists of the world: The schools are tools of the power structure that blind and sentence our youth to a life of confusion, and hypocrisy, one that preaches assimilation and practices institutional racism." --SNIP--
This would be mandated in ALL US schools, if, by some fluke, Perry got into the WH.
Rick Perry is my candidate now that Palin has decided not to enter the race. His state is one of the few states creating jobs. He is a lifelong Christian and stands for what I stand for. He may need to strengthen his stand on illegal aliens but if you live in a state with 25% Hispanic, you must learn to treat them humanely and justly. I personally favor a 1950’s style bracero program that lets these hard working people come here and work temporarily with a legal visa, without the fear of being deported. Flame away you Perry haters and criticize his debate performance (after all that is the most important attribute of a President)
Texas abolished bi-lingual education in grades 9 - 12 years ago and restricts it in all grades below grade 9. I was a Texas school administrator when the changes hit and they really made the liberals, LULAC et al scream. All textbooks used in Texas schools are supplied through American publishers after approval by the State Board of Education. The Board approves more than one textbook in every subject area and then local districts choose the one they want through a committee made up of parents, teachers and community members.
