>> I never know which way she is going to turn. I though resigning as Governor was a great mistake >>
I knew her resignation was brilliant the day she did it: see this published the next day: http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/07/palin_v_pundits.html
And I can tell you, a third party run would end her career - and Beck’s too if he jumped in and supported her decision and Obama was re elected.
somebody with a lot more govt experience than Sarah to be his running mate.
Wouldn't that explode a million liberal heads.
I like it.
She is a hell of a lot smarter then that.
If you were really a Palin bot you would know the others have said it is supposedly in Palin’s book (s) she will never do this. But then again Trump said this too and went back on it and will if he does not like the nominee.
That is a fair concept, but my only problem is her adamant defense of not needing a title. I almost thought that she was telling herself that as much as the audience.
More’n likely.
I forgot about menopause.
Nonsense.
I would read that in terms of her regretting a lost opportunity, but an acceptance that there are other things she could do.
I hope you’re correct.
Nothing would p*ss me off more than seeing Obama win with a Clintonian plurality.
You must have a terrible headache after coming up with such a brainless idea ,,, it would be political suicide ,,, 0bama would go no to win a 2nd term and PALIN WOULD HAVE TO MOVE TO A REMOTE LOCATION IN TRANSYLVANIA .
That’s absolute nonsense. If Sarah decides to run, which I think she will, then she will certainly try to reform the Republican Party first. That’s what she did in Alaska, where she had to beat the corrupt Republicans who were known as the Dirty Bastards Club in the primary, as well as the corrupt Democrats in the general election.
It is remotely possible that the leadership of the Republican Party is so corrupt that they will commit suicide next year. That is what happened to the Whigs 150 years ago. If that is case, then we will need a new SECOND PARTY, because the time for those corrupt shennanigans has run out. We can no longer allow the Karl Roves of the party to play those games.
But Sarah Palin certainly would not take that route without first exhausting every possibility of running in and reforming the GOP. Which means that she certainly would not run “third party,” as you say, without first entering the Republican Primaries and seeing if she is fairly treated.
Quick...what am I thinking right now?
Hitting refresh to see what reply’s you got
Here is the thing about this thread. I am not advocating for that course of action. I am just pondering whether or not that is what is going through her head. I agree that is would be disastrous.
Hmmm.... no, don’t think so.
Too risky and if she lost she’d be destroyed.
I love Sarah, too, but I don’t think I could support this.
That could be, and it probably would not be a bad idea. The Secretary of Energy would be an awesome position for her.
I understand that - and who knows you may be right that she is thinking about it though I hope the heck not.
But just like I was totally sure the resignation would work out well for her, her family and the state of Alaska (and it has by the way, for all three) — I am just as sure this would be a disaster for her and the country.
This is not gonna happen. Give her credit..She wants BO outta their more than she wants to be president. BTW, I don’t believe she will run unless we see a total implosion of the current lot of runners.
“That is a fair concept, but my only problem is her adamant defense of not needing a title. I almost thought that she was telling herself that as much as the audience.”
Who knows. First, I have to admit that while I admire Sarah, I LOVE Cain...so he gets my primary vote (Sarah, of course, gets my November vote if she’s on the Republican ticket).
I’m more thinking that she’ll go through this election cycle as more of a king-maker (or Cain-maker, I hope), and then become Secretary of Energy. She’s young enough to wait another 8 years (hopefully) to run.
...so we’ll see.
