Back before Dan started showing symptoms of the Zombie Plague ... the tagline is a direct quote from one of his brothers.

Fortunately, things should get back closer to what passes for normal within a few days after Hallowe’en.

My sister said it snowed yesterday out her way. It has been cold here also, last night it dropped below 50^o. I always liked kicking cans better than bottles. Not for the kicking as much as if you stomp on bottles you can get them to stick to your feet and walk on then.

I’m cheerful! I’m so cheerful in fact that I went to breakfast with Busdaddy. Pleasant surprise for a Sunday.

Now I’m home. It’s 56 out, clear with a slight breeze.

Someone clipped fire hydrant and ran into two gateposts along the fence, long about 6:15. I was going to go out and see what it was, but I was in the middle of a jigsaw puzzle.

I told Busdaddy I’d meet him outside and then had to re-consider once I got outside. I told him to meet me at the west driveway because emergency vehicles were blocking the east drive. Probably folks on their way home from a night of drinking.

One just never knows these days.

Yahbut. That was back in the day when Rexxy crashed the wall into the Smoky Back Room, and we began construction on the Flying Castle.

Tin cans made a much better noise than aluminum cans do, and they were harder to flatten.

It also used to take a really strong man to bend a bottle cap between his thumb and forefinger...not today...

I hate being hustled out of morning service. It lacks dignity. Of course, so does fainting at the altar so ya have to pick sometimes. :)

Rexxy has been doing bit parts in the movies for a while now.

He had hoped for a big break, playing Godzilla, but he just didn’t have the voice for it.

At least he doesn’t have to subsist on tilapia and traveling salesmen any more.
