I was cheerful this morning.
And then I woke up.
"Dan, is that your eyeball on the floor?"Reminds me of the early days in the Castle, when we were kicking empty bottles around in the mornings.
Dan had his act together then.
I’m cheerful! I’m so cheerful in fact that I went to breakfast with Busdaddy. Pleasant surprise for a Sunday.
Now I’m home. It’s 56 out, clear with a slight breeze.
Someone clipped fire hydrant and ran into two gateposts along the fence, long about 6:15. I was going to go out and see what it was, but I was in the middle of a jigsaw puzzle.
I told Busdaddy I’d meet him outside and then had to re-consider once I got outside. I told him to meet me at the west driveway because emergency vehicles were blocking the east drive. Probably folks on their way home from a night of drinking.
One just never knows these days.
