It's becoming clear that Obama's chances for re-election are becoming nearly impossible given his track record. Most Americans agree he has done incredible damage to our country.....now the question is what kind of evil could he do on the way out of the door? How many criminals could he pardon? Do we need to change that perk? Given that the President has unlimited power with executive orders and recess appointments during his term in office. Should that be changed? Frankly, does the executive office have too much power, given the abuses of power we have witnessed?
Team Clinton will be the 2012 Democrat nominee.

I worry more about clemency for illegal aliens.
Only the Democrats have the power to remove him.
If it became certain that his actions would forever doom the

exercise the options available when a president becomes insane.
And yes there are situations where they would do this. A group of only a few prominent dems could force this to happen.

You're probably referring to Wesley Cook, who calls himself Mumia Abu-Jamal. However, he was convicted on state charges, and Obama wouldn't have the power to pardon him.

As far as I know, Pardons cannot be reversed. The damage he is going to do scares me.
Executive orders can be dealt with by Congress but the President can still veto it.
Courts can overturn an executive order.
...or
exercise the options available when a president becomes insane.

In 1939, the war of 1914-1918, heretofore known as the World War, the Great War, the European War, or the War with Germany got a new name--World War I. I have often thought that within my lifetime, the Civil War may get a new name--Civil War I.

Carter pardoned the draft dodger vote. And we’ve seen out-going governors commute all death sentences.
But this is too legalistic.
Presidents can be ignored if enough people want to ignore him and things patched up later with some formula like declaring him retroactively incompetent.
