We are adults and most on FR are very intelligent persons. I think we can decide if a candidate is right for us.
How about stop repeating the same Gardasil, Texas corridor, immigration stories over and over and over. Most have seen them by now if they have been paying attention. Most have judged the stories and condemn Perry to hell for them or they think that a president just might have different priorities than a state governor.
Screaming at us in all caps isn't going to change any minds. FR isn't the entire universe of voters. We are a very small pool of voters. If you're hell bent on trashing a candidate, it is likely that your efforts are wasted trying to persuade FR posters to change their minds about a candidate. Start standing out by the road with a sign telling your horror stories, pestering people in restaurants and buying billboards and advertising in newspapers and TV. You will have much more impact.
If you insist on cherry picking the negatives, can we do the same to you reviewing every decision and action that you have taken in your life? How would that work out for you? Honestly showing everything you have done, could you withstand the scrutiny?
I realize some of you insist that we are making a horrible mistake. The primary isn't until next year. Stop screaming. OK?

I used to have 2 because the elementary school decided to issue me one of their own volition in kindergarten and my mom took me to get one when I was a bit older.
I picked the one I “liked” and they deleted the other...I think.

MMR was an example of how we have mandatory vaccines before children can attend school.
You claim Gardisil is wrong because it was made into a mandatory vaccination. Which means that the concept of mandatory vaccinations is something you do not support, and thus, fault Perry because of that.
I say that if mandatory vaccines are such a bugaboo for you, then you should at least have a clear record of being against all politicians that do not speak out against it.
And you don’t. We means you are using a non-issue to try and make hay against Perry for reasons that you are not stating. Come out and say why you do not want Perry as a candidate without the bull. And by you actions, Gardisil is just some bull that you don’t even truly believe.
Wow, that didn’t even come close to addressing my points. Let’s try this again. Where does a governor (let’s say of any state and of any political party) get the right to force a vaccine of a non-contagious disease on the general population?! So let’s forget about the absurdity of imposing this little tested drug on all 6th grade girls and just think about how nanny state, big government that particular executive order is.
The fact that a parent is required to sign an affadvit to opt out of a non-contagious disease should already be raising first admendment alarm bells!!!

Just to touch back on the original context of you arguement here. You seem to inclinate that as long as there is an opt-out option than big government health mandates are no big deal?

It's a sad thing to see how many long-term Freepers use the same Saul Alinsky tactics as the Dims because they can't defend their position or offer a better candidate and back their choice with facts.
I prefer Palin to Perry, but she's not in it at this time and I believe Perry is the best choice/hope we have at this point - would vote for him with a smile.
We get the so-called purists who hear a MSM or Left-wing hit piece on Perry and they suddenly become incapable of sifting out the fact from the fiction or making comparisons to determine the best choice. They want the "Perfect" candidate, but can't name/explain one.
There are still a bunch of good Freepers, but the useful tools are multiplying to the point that they are worse than the typical ZOT candidate these days.

Seriously I appreciate someone reading the article and responding. I’m not comfortable with everything on the lists, but in my opinion it gave much more depth to my understanding of how and why some things were done. I have more information and that is important for people to make judgements.
Someone made the point earlier. The only 100% perfect candidate is myself. I’ll agree with me 100% of the time.
Re:Bilderberg meetings
What if their plan is to crush socialism because they see it doesn’t create wealth? Aren’t they all money grubbing rich elite? Has anyone ever leaked a meeting agenda that we could trust?
Just curious. I’ve heard of the Bilderberg meetings for years, yet no one has ever explained how they have been impacted personally. No one has ever explained what they thought should be done. Do you forbid them from meeting? Insist that all discussion be shared?
If they are bright people, you would think they would learn by observation that NWO top down control seems to fail where it is tried. Russia and China’s economies only took off after they allowed property rights to their people.

Don’t put me in that group, unless you have some evidence. I’ve had 10 years of Perry and have plenty to say that purely factual.

You can put me in that group. I don’t have a favorite, I just know that I would NEVER want this country to have to endure Perry. About half of the Republican field (and it’s big) is conservative, and I’ll take any of them (and no, I don’t put Perry there).

I see that a lot more from Perry supporters. The ONLY times I’ve EVER been called a liberal on this site (over 10,000 posts, 95% of them having nothing to do with Perry) was when I said things that Perry’s people didn’t like. On the other hand, I do see other Perry opponents going a bit over the top, so it does go both ways. I guess that happens when things start to heat up.

In almost all cases of legitimate criticism (as opposed to over the top stuff, like calling him Jesus), Perry’s opponents have listed sources. It’s very easy for us.

It looks like illegal aliens can claim that they intend to file an application at some unspecified future date. How far in the future? 5 years? 100 years? I can't find any time limit.
