The Associated Press, Wednesday, November 2, 2011, 12:07pm (PDT)
· NEW YORK (AP) -- Former "Survivor" winner Ethan Zohn's cancer has returned.
Zohn's publicist confirms doctors discovered cancer in his chest in September. News of the diagnosis was first reported by People.com.
Zohn was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's disease in 2009. Two rounds of chemotherapy didn't work, and he underwent a stem cell transplant. He was in remission until his latest diagnosis.
The 37-year-old is undergoing a new form of chemotherapy called SGN-35, which involves an antibody drug that zeroes in on cancer cells and is thought to be less toxic to the rest of the body.
Zohn says he hopes to undergo another stem cell transplant after three months of treatment
· Zohn competed on the current season of CBS' "The Amazing Race" with his girlfriend, fellow "Survivor" champion Jenna Morasca. They were sent home in the second episode.
Well, I think Cooked Brain thought he had a plan but he blew it tonight.
He had one from his original tribe roped it. He could have used her after taking out the majority of Coach’s tribe to form a new alliance and then take out the rest of his original tribe. Then he would have been a player.
Now? He just remains a tool - and a worm.
That’s really too bad about Ethan. Prayers for him. Hope the treatment is more successful this time.
Well, tonight was just a total bummer. First, Christine didn’t send Ozzy packing and then Cochran just couldn’t get past his high school years. He could have had it all, but nooooo, he just had to have his little poke at the cool kids. I lost all respect for him right there. May he be the next on the walk of shame.
Funny how Ozzy overplayed his hand making it so obvious to Team Coach it was all a ruse. How dumb was it to give Whitney the idol. Right when Ozzy (gotta have his babes) said that, we all hollered at the tv to give it to Keith. Dawn is the smartest one on Team Ozzy but even she wimped out in the end by not being the mom and telling the kids how the cow ate the cabbage. Hate to say it but now I’m back rooting for Brandon.
Survivor Recap
Voted out last night: Keith
Redemption Island last night: Ozzy defeated Christine and returned to the game.
Immunity challenge winners: Dawn, Ozzy

Redemption Island: Keith
Eliminated: Christine, Elyse, Mikayla, Papa Bear, Semhar, Stacey

Very dumb; handing it to Keith would have been equally dumb. He should have used it on Cochran, because then Cochran wouldn't have had to pluck a stone, and thus, kept the tie Ozzy wanted, and it would have been a 1/3rd chance his team would have drawn the unlucky stone.
Playing an idol to save someone who doesn't matter is always the worst move in Survivor.
I think it was more a one in nine chance that he'd go home anyway that swayed his action. Others were willing to let the stones fall where they may, which honestly, seems like the stupidest action, especially for those on Coach's team - they collectively had a 2/3rds chance of going home, and why they'd leave it to a draw, I don't understand.
Heck, I don't understand why either team still has Coach or Ozzy - why keep around the guys who have played the game multiple times when it makes it that much more of a chance that you're going to lose?
And absolutely, worst idea was voting for Cowboy by Ozzy's team - they should have all voted for Coach, who would destroy his 'dragon slayer' image if he selfishly used the immunity idol on himself, and they might have been able to sway one of his team to send Coach home (he's already played the game 3 times, why not let someone else have a shot argument) rather than Cowboy.
Good points.
“. You can’t go around treating people like crap and belittling them and expect them to give you their undying love. I’m glad that Cochran finally stood up for himself.”
Agree 100%, and I was glad Cochran made this move. If not love, it should earn respect, that he is not everyone’s whipping boy.
Brandon shot up for me this week, I loved his protectiveness towards Cochran.
Cochran should not have tried to explain or smooth over his move to his old tribe. They did not deserve it.
Dawn’s reward for her loyalty will be that she’ll be first to go at the hand of her tribemates if they ever hold the upper hand. I guess she can’t see that.
Same here! It was nice to see this side of him.
It's Cochran's nature to explain his actions, or at least it has been since he's been on this tribe. According to the clip they're going to be brutal (yet again) to him for his actions.

I know it’s his nature, but, he needs to get a handle on it. He had nothing to apologize for. They had an apology to make. It’s one thing to play the game, it’s another to treat a fellow human being like dirt. He should not feel guilty, not at all.
Brandon and Cochran to the end! :)
I don’t understand why Ozzy’s team went after the cowboy or why they thought they had to protect Whitney. At this point of the game you start eliminating the strong and although Rick is a big fella Albert, Brandon and Coach all seem stronger. (Well, not Coach, I’ve never really seen him shine in a challenge — his is mental strength)
Agreed!
“(Well, not Coach, Ive never really seen him shine in a challenge his is mental strength)”
Never thought I’d see that comment about Coach! But there it is. I alone in my family have liked Coach from the beginning, because under all the New Age foo-foo I thought I saw a good man. He has definitely matured and is presenting himself much better this go-round.
I think after watching himself on TV the last couple of times he’s seen the error of his ways (or how Survivor likes to edit him). He’s been a real stand up guy this go round. The fact that he’s taken the time and patience with Brandon says alot about the man. I have nothing against the man, he’s not on my short list with Ozzy and Jim. I still don’t see him as a physical strength player but as a mental strength player. There’s nothing wrong with that in my book.
A strong mind will carry a weak body further than a weak mind will carry a strong body.
Somebody told me that once.
Wise words worth remembering. Thanks for sharing!

Well, it’s clear Albert, Sophie and Rick don’t see the writing on the wall.
From the previews for next week it appears the light comes on for Albert - too late.
In no particular order but the way I see it Albert, Sophie, Dawn, Whitney and Rick go next.
Brandon will cry when he goes out next leaving Coach, John (C) and Edna in the final three ...........
Coach wins........
Sigh.
