The appointment of six RINO’s to the so-called super committee today is a slap in the face to the Tea Party. When are we going to realize that these Republican establishment types are just as bad as the Democrats? The fix is in. Contrary to what McConnell says now, I predict that the GOP members of this so-called super committee will roll over and sign off on tax increases. They will probably call it something else like revenue enhancements but it will be tax increases. And when all is said and done there will be no meaningful reduction in either the budget deficit or the national debt. Both will continue to grow albeit at possibly a slightly slower pace.

Keep borrowing, spending, getting buried in debt, destroying the economy, and blame the messenger that tells you to stop the foolishness.

The appointment of six RINO’s to the so-called super committee today is a slap in the face to the Tea Party.

When did Pat Toomey go from being a Tea Party candidate to a RINO?

When did Jeb Hensarling go from being an ACU-100% conservative who was the darling of the tea party, to being a RINO?

When did Dave Camp go from being a solid voice of conservatism to being a RINO?

How did Kyl go from an ACU-96% lifetime to a RINO?

When did Rob Portman become a RINO?

Or is this more of a "I hate the committee, therefore everybody assigned to it is a RINO?"

If ten-year notes are auctioning at only 2.14% and S&P has downgraded the credit rating of the U.S. government, then what does this say about other alternatives in the bond market?!

They will never, ever ever approve tax increases. Nooooo, they will however plug " loop holes". You know, loop holes like the mortgage interest deduction and the dependent child deduction and other such loop holes.

See, isn't that better than a tax increase? Happy now?

As the stench of national bankruptcy rises, the Democrats are down to the "he who smelt it dealt it" defense.

Pat Toomey a RINO? Really?

A couple of days ago people here were saying that McConnell would appoint Snowe, Collins and McCain.

Didn't happen. Now all I'm still hearing are complaints.

Portman, Toomey, Kyl, Hensarling, Camp are all good picks IMO.

Upton fair...but one so-so out of six I can live with.
