How about an unwed mothers home, born over the border in Canada from their Washington State home. It explains her arriving at her previously registered college with an infant she barely knew how to care for.

Food for thought?

I have always thought BC was the place of birth. She and her parents already had contacts there (they had lived in Seattle, IIRC), it would have been an obvious solution, and it would have fit the time frame much better than a Kenyan birth. About the only place he probably was not born was Hawaii.

Exactly, and it ties in with what the sperm donor (big barack) said, that his knocked up underage babymama was going to give the child up for adoption through the salvation army. There were two unwed mothers’ homes in Vancouver that were frequented by Seattle girls in trouble. One was run by the catholic church, which her liberal atheist family would not have chosen, and the other was run by the salvation army.

She probably originally intended to give up baby Barack for adoption, but at the last minute decided to keep her baby. Thus she shows up back in Seattle with a baby she did not know how to take care of.
