The principal role of women in our society is to exert a civilizing effect on men, especially young men. Because of the 40+ years of corrosive influence you cite, they are no longer enforcing that constraint. The result is the vulgarity so often displayed in contemporary "culture," and sadly, on this board. My mother -- certainly no feminist -- has been dead for 20 years; if for no other reason than knowing how disappointed she would be, (to say nothing of the protective instinct I have for my wife and daughter, and the example I need to set for my sons) I would hope never to regard or advertise this twenty year old rapist as anything better than a slut.
There's nothing wrong with being a red-blooded American boy; but there's a time, place, and circumstance for everything. FR isn't a locker room, and what this woman has done is a crime.
We have a 12 year old son and I am starting to make a point about waiting until marriage for sex and mention to him the consequences like pregnancy, disease and even the girl’s father coming after him with a shot gun.
