doggie ping!
If anyone on this thread thinks that dogs arent mans best friend.... Try the following test.....
Lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of your car for one hour....
After the one hour is up, open the trunk and see whos happy to see you....
Read “ City” by Clifford Simak. One of my top 5 Science Fiction books. Dogs rule !!
I have a Sheltie/Beagle Mix, a Border/Golden Mix and full blood Border. I KNOW the Border and the Border mix understand what I am saying and my body language. Dogs ARE smarter than we believed.
I have a pit/border mix. She is so smart, she herds our other golden/lab mix around plus the cats, its funny to watch she is very affectionate with our daughters new babies.
Probably a stupid questions but will your doggie “herd” the baby when he/she is a toddler? Like a “canine play-pen?”
I know just how you feel. My dog is 14 years old. She doesn’t eat as much anymore and has lost a lot of weight. She has her days where she just doesn’t seem right and won’t eat. Then the next day or next few days she seems to be fine. I love my Honey I hope she lives as long as my old cat did, 22 years.
Absolutely.
There are stories the old timers tell about when one would escape and the sirens would blow calling all of the young boys to get out of school to come help capture the fox. I can't imagine breeding foxes until they become tame and then turning your "pet" into a coat. The descendents of the fur farm family operate a pet food factory now -- a business that grew out of the fur farm. My dog eats their food -- Fromm -- which is shipped all over the world and sold in high quality pet stores. They also make mink food and I don't know what else.
If there are no dogs in Heaven, I am not sure I want to go.
I miss our girl a bunch. Thanks for ping.
Please keep eyes open for Black and Tan Doberman that needs a good home :)
My youngest would SCREAM BLOODY MURDER if she was put into a play pen. There were just times that I needed to load the washing machine or go to the bathroom without fear that she would fall down the steps, pull a wire.. you know, kid stuff. I truly needed a pooch that I could say “herd!!”. I would have had a ton of biscuits for him as a reward!! Canine Mother’s helper!!
LMAO....
Michael: Anyone who does not like dogs is not fully human.
Abdullah: But we Mooosluuums do not like dog. We tink dogs are vile and fillllty.
Michael: Well, Abdullah, you seem to make my point for me.
My dogs, I have 4, certainly talk to me. They have a greeting, “yea, you’re home” and a “hey mom a car pulled into the drive way” and a “stranger at the door”. But the most distinctive is “there is a rabbit in the yard!”. I hope I never have to go without my pup children.
What the Narrator left out is this:
Dogs are Beloved all over the world EXCEPT in muslim countries.
They’re basically like 3 year olds - not a lot of complex thought processes, but thought processes just the same. Any dog owner could tell you this.
I just watched this on Netflix yesterday, excellent documentary!
