Significant to whom?
And [God] hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Acts 17:26
So, would you not take the blood of an African descendant if you needed surgery?
Brings to mind an Archie Bunker show where he found out that the blood he received for surgery came from a Black person.
Also brings to mind the complete title for Darwin's tome.
I would say statistically significant.
Saying that different peoples have different abilities, as well as different looks, in no way implies that they have less moral worth as human beings. Nor does it imply they should have less worth legally.
The erroneous assumption that it does has poisoned racial discussion in the United States for decades.
Unfortunately there is more than one type of blood out there and they are not all compatible. Ever hear of A, A+, B, B+ or O? Then there is the RH factor.
PapaBear3625 didn’t say we aren’t “one blood”. he didn’t say we are different species.
but, there are genetic differences. even between black populations. sprinters from west africa, marathoners from east. causasian achilles tendons are different.
and the “Bell Curve” is ignored, but not refuted.
(just as Asians have HIGHER average I.Q. than caucasians.)
PC shouldn’t be allowed to trump science.
“(”there is no significant genetic difference and therefore all performance differences must be due to racism, which must be remedied”) isn’t turning out so well either. “
/// is correct. and spending billions to erase an “achievement gap” between caucasians and blacks, while ignoring the achievement gap between asians and whites, is simply wasting money on a false premise.
