SECRET files which name four new Jack the Ripper suspects will not be released to the public.
Retired murder detective Trevor Marriott has fought to have a 900-page dossier on the 1888 Whitechapel murders released.
But a tribunal last week ruled they must be kept hidden. Scotland Yard said living relatives of the suspects could be attacked.

It added that releasing the papers which name “grasses” would jeopardise the recruitment of modern-day informants.
Yesterday Mr Marriott, who is writing a book about the Ripper, who was never caught, said: “To censor the documents is absurd.
“They could help solve the mystery after all this time.”

A little over a month or so ago the newest theory came out about the Polish Jew, whom Scotland Yard had thought it could have been and now, some are claiming it was.
What YOU haven't though of, obviously, is that they have come up with "new people", lots of of, who weren't on anyone's list before, and whilst somewhat plausable sounding, these theories are impossible to prove; as is this newest one.
The Royal connection, along with the supposed Masonic one have all been blown to bits.
Dude, calm down. My original comment was that I consider circumstantial evidence relevent. I wasn’t talking about the actual crimes. I was talking about why they won’t release their information. This tells me it’s pretty damning about someone they don’t want implicated. The upper class have no reason to defend a commoner, only one of their own. Not complicated.
Yes, Aaron Kominski is being touted, yet again, as the Ripper, but this time, with some bits of what is claimed to be more proof.
Now, IF this is what this article is about, the crazed Muslim population ( which is virulent and extremely vocal in England, especially in and around London, right now ), combined with the always sub rosa antiSemitism of some strata of the English populace, will explode. It is prudent, should talked about "Ripper" indeed be the one, to keep it quite.

They've actually released the info about Albert Victor, rather a long time ago. There is NOTHING there!
Some even claimed that it was the Price of Wales, but that was even more dumb, than putting the blame on his son, Albert victor!

I didn't "attack" you. I simple have pointed out that the possibility of a Royal, either the Prince of Wales ( which was VERY quickly debunked long, long ago ),or his son, Prince Albert Victor being the Ripper just doesn't wash.
Would you care to pick another prince, as the Ripper? If so, which one?

It has to be someone in high places, otherwise why would they worry about relatives being attacked? I mean seriously, why would anyone even care at this point — UNLESS it was a member of the aristocracy, or a close relative of someone in Parliament, or perhaps even someone in Scotland Yard itself. Nothing else makes sense, IMHO.
There was at least one named suspect who was a member of the aristocracy, but I can’t recall the name off-hand. However, that person is known to have been a suspect by “Ripperologists” - unlike the names presumably in these secret files...
I hate to break it to you, but that is NOT the “latest” theory. I read a book LAST YEAR, and published a couple years ago that dissected the “Polish Jew” angle. If you are a “Ripperologist” as you claim, I would think you would know that...
As far as the royal suspect - true, that ALREADY NAMED/KNOWN suspect has basically been “cleared” as much as possible... However, as the article points out there are more names that have not previously been mentioned in this 900+ page file. So, just because one royal was cleared has nothing to do with these other suspects...
