The woman, known only as juror number 12 left her job and went into hiding fearing co-workers would 'want her head on a platter'.

Her husband said before leaving she told him: 'I’d rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.'

He told NBC News he was worried for her health and had his bags packed ready to leave if his 60-year-old wife's name gets released.

The woman, who moved to Florida from Michigan fled the area, retiring from her job working at Publix Grocery over the phone because she didn't feel safe.

Too bad she lost such a great job—a bagger at PUBLIX. This jury’s combined IQ must have been around 60.

The legal system is not there for justice to be done.

It is there to ensure due process.

You get the law or you get justice.

You rarely, if ever, get both.

tell that to the victims of crime.

Can’t do that in this case because the only victim is dead. The others related to the case are merely profiting off the victim’s demise.

Swamps, etc. you can get used to, it’s not difficult.
The natives, on the other hand, can be quite nice once you learn to speak their language..................

Thank you for enlightening me....I appreciate it...

I cannot believe the jury came to that conclusion with that information....I want to know why they came to that conclusion......

I was listening to someone on the radio discussing this and they thought it was because the prosecution was going for the death penalty....was that the only option the jury had.....I am not a legal mind and would love to know...

She should be put out in general population prison and let the her fellow inmates sort it out......

I’m so glad that Ann Coulter and Mark Levine came out and called them idiots. They let a killer go free.

What about people who watched the entire trial, saw all the evidence presented and came to a different conclusion than yours?

<><><><

The people you describe above were the jurors, and only the jurors, and they agree with the ex hippie, while they disagree with you.

Viewing the trial on tv does not make one as qualified to render a verdict as the jury.

Dollars to donuts you would have voted to convict prior to voire dire.

Many victims of crime do not receive “justice” in our legal system.

The system does not guarantee the outcome. It only guarantees the process.

And it supposed to guarantee a level playing field for court.

That is why Justice is portrayed as wearing a blindfold—she is impartial, not a meter out of justice to the participants.

One of the charges was manslaughter. They could have convicted her of that if the real issue was the death penalty.

Such a good man that was just another ancillary victim in the case. Trashed and called a drunk by Cindy. All he wanted to do was find Caylee.

I saw the same evidence they did.

You saw all the photos they saw? Really?

As it should be but you said justice rarely comes. I disagree. It comes to many. When decisions are made on day one of a trial based on what I believe to be profit motives and an opening statement which can not be viewed as evidence; is the process a level playing field?

those who saw all the evidence and disagreed had a right to insult the jury.

<><><>

Who, besides the jury and the lawyers, saw all the evidence? Did they display all of the photos the jury saw on tv?

If there wan’t a dead baby, you could laugh at the nitwits here.

Or the idiot “alternate juror” who said Casey was a “good mother.””...a doting mother, a loving mother.”

Yeah, juries are infallible. /sarc

Everyone knows that good mothers always go out partying, not reporting their missing daughter and actively lying to prevent any inquiry into her dead daughter’s whereabouts.

With birdbrains like that on the jury, is it any wonder Casey was acquitted? And with birdbrains SALUTING the jury, is that not alarming?

But don’t sweat the idiots. They are a small minority, and some (like driftdiver) even admit they don’t know the evidence.

They will never be educated, so I’ve given up trying.

This notice didn't go out until after little Caylee had been missing for a month.

Casey was too busy drinking, dancing, and entering a hot body contest to call 911 for an entire month. Casey's mother made the call.

At the least, she could have been convicted of being an abusive and neglectful parent.

Until I hear why they acquitted Casey, I can’t do that, even if I disagree with them.

I may call them idiots myself if they give the most inadequate reasons for their decisions. An example of this would be that Casey looked to innocent to be capable of such a crime. That would be a very stupid reason. The first lesson police learn is that anybody is capable of anything.

There could be good reasons and so it’s important to hear them out.

It is just jump on the bandwagon sanctimony and hyperbole for attention. I am well aware of the usual suspects on most threads. Been here a long time. OMG a lynch mob! OMG. LOL. When I merely see it as people who followed the case being appalled by the lack of justice for Caylee and they have every right to be disappointed in the jury. I don’t need some talk show host to tell me how to think, but sadly, it is apparent many do. I just laugh. I can’t teach common sense as you can’t either.
