Work is in full swing now and things are actually looking like a real excavation!
We had some very nice finds in various areas.
In Area D, there were several vessels in the 9th cent. destruction level, along with some iron objects and other finds.

Looks like a couple plastic buckets and a coke bottle also in situ. That put the fan in fantastic find!
One would have thought the dig would have had to be much deeper assuming the bad guys were long gone to Hell !!
