Today is the day she may walk free. Prepare yourselves.
Call me Pollyanna, but the Judge did give FingerBoy 6 days. Hopefully he has scoured the law so she can cool her heels a little longer.
I thought Jesse Grund gave the real scenario/motive (without his knowing it) last night on Dr. Drew when he told the story of how Cindy picked a fight with Casey when he was at their house. She asked Jesse what he was doing with a loser like Casey who hadn’t finished high school, couldn’t get a decent job, didn’t support her baby, and so on and so on.
I bet the backyard fight was full of similar words...not that I’m defending a rotten person like Casey who stole money from her aged grandpa and grandma. But clearly Cindy knew how to push buttons and I think the result of this one was payback time using Caylee to do it.
She was brought in to impeach his credibility.
I should make clear the only client of Gloria Allread I ever liked was Amber Fry. She came out and nailed Scott Peterson.
Obviously the Last Person to See Caylee Alive put the duct tape on her and that Last Person is Casey.
After all even her attorney said there is NO nanny. Oh-oh!!! Lee didn’t see Caylee last. Cindy didn’t see Caylee last. George (yes, even George the boogeyman in this wild tale) didn’t see Caylee last.
If John Doe did it HOW did he get Caylee alone? How did he get this very unusual duct tape? How did he get the Winnie the Pooh blanket from Caylee’s bed? How did he get Cindy’s laundry bag from the garage?
Therein lays the problem. They couldnt prove any of those. Only speculation. The prosecution spent its entire time trying to prove murder one but couldnt establish how she died, when she died, who put the body in the bag, or anything else.
Those prone to emotionalism want someone punished and made their minds up because of Caseys behavior. Nothing based on pure incontrovertible facts.
When the prosecutor himself admits on Greta that the tape could have moved during the time it was under water going through storms and possible animal involvement you know that even they had reasonable doubt about the suppositions they presented in court.
the reports of Cindy choking Casey morphed inside my head into Casey choking Caylee in anger and revenge.......in my scenario she stopped before killing her....then she coldly placed the duck tape on and let her go...in the same backyard where Cindy choked her earlier.......that is what came to me and it was CHILLING.
Do any of these people, who obviously didn’t follow the trial, ever wonder why Casey didn’t testify to her own behalf?
I, also, sense the duct tape over her mouth started as Casey shutting up her mother.....then she just moved on and killed the one thing Cindy really loved....at least at that moment in Casey’s mind.
Yeah, ya gotta love how smart people are when they bandwagon jump to sound smart or something. Those that followed the case understand the travesty of it all, but some just want to pontificate in pixels as impotent know it alls - when in reality they are ding dongs.
But Krystal Hollaway (complete with a long rap sheet and an alias) had no credibility either. Using one Big Fat Liar to impeach another Big Fat Liar is laughable. But with that jury it worked. Part of that is the prosecution’s fault. I think that they should have been tougher in cross examining her.
If you go to bed and sleep all night and never wake the whole time, and there is 5 inches of snow on the ground can you say that without a doubt it snow the night before? Are you capable of that? THe new standard is you have to assume the jury is mentally challenged and cannot reason or deduce anything. Scary.
Everything you said is not definitive, or proof, nor the only scenario.
You don’t know who the last person to see Caylee alive was. You don’t know it was Casey.
You assumed you know.
So from your assumption, you created a series of events which may or may not have happened, or happened in the way you surmised.
Will you convict on the basis of your reasoning, that may or may not be correct?
Or will you judge on the basis of the facts entered into the record?
Could someone Casey is covering for, have taken those things of Caylee’s from the house? Could Casey have retrieved them, and given them to the killer?
What was the sequence of events offered by the prosecution?
You have not eliminated possibilities—you have opened new possibilities. How do you know that what you described is the way it went down?
I agree. People will always believe sex stories faster than anything.
Can’t prove it. Reasonable doubt. For example, Casey Anthony could have escaped from jail, taken the water from the swimming pool and handcrafted each drop of water into a six-sided snowflake, stuffed it all into black garbage bags and gently laid the white stuff all over the ground while you slept. Doesn’t matter that it was 82º that night. She may have had an accomplice—Santa Claus and his reindeer.
Jackwagon the DEFENSE said there were only three people involved, Casey, Cindy and George. The defense said it was accidental, no kidnapping nothing like that. No other people were brought in as possible party or parties in the crime by the defense! Get it?
If you think it wasn't Casey then it was George or Cindy. Since George went around town hanging signs with the exact same roll of duct tape found on the body he is pretty stupid then
Yeah, it absolutely is definitive but you will never admit it.
I boxed you in a corner. It pretty much HAD to be Casey and NO ONE else and that is clear from the evidence but you don’t want it to be that way for reasons only known to you.
Maybe she reminds you of your daughter or sister or even your mother. Maybe you’re a young man and would like to get it on with a hot babe like this one or maybe you’re a woman who’d like to do the same. Casey swings both ways—something for everyone.
In any event I proved the point that it had to be Casey and now I’m done talking with you about it.
If a child is thrown in the woods and rots into a skeleton is it still a murder?
I noticed that too, but I just thought it was because we had seen SO MANY pictures of Caylee as a younger child and not so many of her when she was older. Most of th epictures were focused on her face. It was hard to tell how tall she was. However, you could see her face maturing and becoming what I call "wise". Her face is changing from an innocent, angel baby look to a defiant gaze in some of the photos as she gets older. I can see her becoming a handful, particularly if she doesn't get her way. There is a reason that they call that stage of development the "terrible twos". I wish that someone had put those photos in date order, and then you could see the subtle change in her look. Yes, Casey was the photographer. I'm sure that Cindy took pictures too. Your point about the bathing suit is well taken.
ReallyDairyland, people CAN disagree with you and NOT be evil. You’ve crossed some kind of line that doesn’t need crossing.
