I was getting ready to talk about Jacquie Lawson and I will cover that later....I got so excited I actually get nervous!!! I believe its bad news for Casey, the girl who lied to everyone. I hope that little Caylee Marie will get her justice!!

Ice Cream Prayer
Last week I took my children to a restaurant. My six year old son asked if he could say grace. As we bowed our heads he said, "God is good, God is great. Thank you for the food, and I would thank you even more if Mom gets us Ice Cream for dessert. And liberty and justice for all!!!
Along with laughter from the other customers nearby, I heard a woman remark, "That's what's wrong with this country. Kids today don't even know how to pray. Asking God for Ice Cream! Why, I never!"
Hearing this, my son burst into tears and asked me, "Did I do it wrong? Is God mad at me?" As I held him and assured him that he had done a terriffic job and God was certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentleman approached the table. He winked at my son and said, "I happen to know that God thougt that was a great prayer," "Really?", my son asked (indicating to the woman whose remark had started this whole thing), "too bad she never asks God for Ice Cream. A little Ice Cream is good for the soul sometimes."
Naturally, I bought my kid Ice Cream at the end of the meal. My son stared at his for a moment and then did something I will remember the rest of my life. He picked up his Banana Split and without a word walked over and placed it in front of the woman. With a big smile he told her, "Here, this is for you. Ice Cream is good for the soul sometimes and my soul is good already.

This makes me sick to my stomach! I suspect she won’t be getting any more boyfriends or girlfriends to go party with anymore.
Nancy Grace just said that the most she will get will be a four year sentence, and get off with as little as a year - PLUS, the time already served will probably be taken into consideration.

I have not watched this trial. I’ve read some of the threads here on FR. I weep for that precious child.

Biggest Miscarriage of Justice I've ever witnessed!!
If I were one of those jurors I would hate to face the truth that this whole country hates this girl and she is so guilty and now she will get to be a millionaire. I think those jurors will be ridiculed the rest of their lives! And I think they will be paid back in some way!! That precious little girl is an angel with God now because of her mother! I don't think I can talk about it anymore. Even my son, who is on vacation this week, was so upset that he just couldn't believe it. We're just so disappointed!!

Just awful..I feel for all on the prosecution case..
The jury will not speak ..I don’t blame them..They seem to be in a hurry to get outta town, back home..
I cannot believe this verdict.

I did not watch any of the trial but I saw the nightly recap on Fox News.
I was really shocked when the verdict was read. Since they didn’t take days to reach a verdict, I was sure it would be guilty. How could not one of the twelve find her guilty?
I rushed to get the Opener posted so I could watch the verdict live. Oh Well .... so much for justice.

I mentioned the OJ quick verdict just before the verdict was read..I was nervous..but I just cannot conceive of not one juror standing up for Caylee.

I told Hubby that since they came back with a verdict so soon it would be guilty. I felt it would either be a hung jury or a unanimous guilty verdict.
It was a complete shock to hear 'not guilty'.
I cannot help thinking of that beautiful child and her not getting justice. Poor baby!!!

What a sweet story, Amy, and the graphic is SO original, Lori! I love it all!
Now, to get back to my whining, pouting and complaining about the verdict. (*sigh*)

I am still in shock.
I better go catch up on some chores and get out of this mood soon..I have no control over this injustice..Poor little Caylee indeed.
My TV watching will be limited until this wears off..Just cannot stand to hear about it over and over again...and it will be talked about on all the news for awhile.
The jury did not get what REASONABLE doubt is ..I suspect.
