Yea, I could have, but I really wanted to find out what caused the big INGGZIP sound, when the lights went out.
Found it. It was the ceiling fan. The sound was the motor seizing up in the fan and causing a huge short witch tripped the breaker.
I will be leaving the ceiling fan disconnected from the wiring until tomorrow when I can get to Home Depot for a new unit. Then I will again have some electrical work waiting for me when I get home again.
Dinner was good by the way, a nice three cheese chicken casserole with garlic bread and a salad.
