Today is the first day of the live thread. Speculation abounds surrounding the surprise one-day recess on Saturday. There is talk of a plea-bargain, discovery violation, witness tampering, and, God forbid, even a mistrial.
Today I heard some feel Chaney Mason may be withdrawing, that he doesn't like working with Jose Baez and is sick of the case.
I believe television coverage begins at 8:00 a.m. and the trial starts at 9:00 a.m.
Baez always has to have the last word.

Now knowing she had attention all weekend from psychologists of psychiatrists makes me think she felt like a fairy princess with all that attention! lol
Well one theory could be she has been so unemotional for most of the time but did break down when Lee was up there - maybe they felt she was showing emotion, which is a change for her. Or it could have just been another stupid defense trick
I was thinking maybe Casey wants to testify (for more attention) and the lawyers were trying to keep her from doing it, for her own good. Just a thought. Probably just another defense trick.
Haha - I would LOVE for her to testify - can you imagine Jeff Ashton getting her to lie and lie and lie?

So all this was because Casey wanted to show she was not competent to continue with the proceedings..could have saved the courts a lot of hassle..of course she is competent. She is a sociopath, she is not insane..strange that they wanted this in now, maybe the defense knows they are screwed so they will use this motion on appeal
That's what I heard...the defense wants an issue to use on appeal. This is it.
Yeah only problem with that is Casey is NOT insane..she is a sociopath, that isn’t considered a mental illness(At least as far as I know) and the judge was smart to have her interviewed by THREE doctors which means he took every measure to ensure that the defense can’t claim she wasn’t seen by a doctor, she was seen by THREE..not counting the numerous shrinks she has seen throughout this entire case
One of the commentors on Tru TV said the same thing - she wants to testify. She had no evidence, of course, just an assumption. Makes sense to me!
Unfortunately, we are back to slides and biochemistry so the trial is lagging a bit. Poor jury.
Thank God we aren't having to listen to Dr. Robin Cotton and two weeks of DNA evidence, a la O.J. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Did you just hear the Velveeta discussion?! The guy on the stand thinks Velveeta can decompose! Anyone who has ever owned a block of Velveeta knows it would last through an atomic attack.
