Free Republic Picnic in Utah on July 23

A special gathering of like minded conservative individuals will have a picnic on July 23 at the Dixon Property.

A few famous souls might be brave enough to gather around a campfire and spin a few tales. With camera in hand we hope the famous photographer Elsie of Indiana will be able to leave his goat herd long enough to join in the festivities.

On July 24 we will celebrate the morning in silence as we enjoy a rendering or two of In the Garden to honor one of our famous guests.

The famous western entertainer Robin Arnold will join us for the afternoon and evening campfire and also for the Sunrise Services

All in all it should be a wonderful time and a good chance to see the faces of folks we have all known for years.

And there will be Mormon Muffins and Thunderbird Coffee on Sunday morning.

Oh this sounds like such fun! Will be looking for photos of the group ..and the celebration in Jim’s honor. Am to far east to travel there and no time off from work, but I will sure be there and among in heart. You all have a simply grand time!!!! :)

Monsoons might happen, no flooding we hope.

Evidently that dam holding back the farm pond held last fall, and Hurricane is still with us?

No flooding over here but the snow up on Cedar Mountain is still melting and Navajo Lake is totally filled. Duck Creek is no longer a creek but is a lake.

I haven’t been over to Hurricane lately however that reservoir is probably overflowing.

Checked the flights from DC to St Georges and it’s $718 with two stops round trip per person. Wish I could do it so much.

Damm I want some Mormon Muffins though. If DWTS is indicative of what a typical Elsie looks like, Julianne, Lacey, Chelsie and Ashly are great role models.

Mostly we fly in and out of Las Vegas. They have really good rates. An unlimited mileage car rental isn’t bad.

Depends on how heavy your foot is. Three hours is about right.

I’d love to see that part of the country. Mrs Suhks has many clients in Vegas and goes there all the time. With her free air miles and suite at Mandalay we may just show up...I’ll let you know.

They look so sweet! I love goats. My youngest... not so much! She says their eyes are creepy. I took her to a county fair and when she saw a goat up close... she screamed! (the wonderful, blood curdling type). LOL!!
